Packaging is Professionally made, this is the first Palette that ive owned that the Top is Cushioned. When you open it up, is shows the perfect array of Nudes with Mattes and Metallics. Hardly any of these shades Applied what shows in the Pan, Mostly the Mattes. They apply much Darker and almost a different Color. I found a difficult time Blending with these. The only Colors I am happy with are the Shimmers/Metallics. I dampened my brush and they displayed Beautifully.
If I had a choice, I would skip this Palette and Stay with Naked 1 and 2.

Can’t describe how awful the texture was for most of the colours in this palette. Don’t waste your money!

Edit2/ ok i realized why every. single. person I saw use this on Youtube, and myself if I am honest , why we all look either sick, bleary-eyed or washed out in this, no matter what the colouring of the person. It makes me think of the blurred look of cataracts, except obviously the eyes are clear in reality. i mean unless the person adds on a brightening lipstick/bronzer/blush, or serious eyeliner, they look entirely faded. Have you seen the Monty Python scene where the groom tries to escape a forced marriage (The Tale of Sir Lancelot). If ypu remember how weak and washed out that actor was made to look, that is what this looks like in my opinion. Just on the eyes but the eyes impact the whole face.
Well unless you add on big ole falsies to negate that but then what’s the point? False lashes make makeup half the price of this become photogenic.
They seem to have chosen colours that look good in pan but are faded-looking because they have been made weak, vague, pastel versions of themselves.
Just to make something that is universally workable, with pan appeal (ie looks good in pan/swatched), they enfeebled the colours- that makes it universally beige and not ideal too, for almost everybody. I’m talking about the overall effect not individual colours of which I’m sure there would be ones that could be good.
Perhaps if you have very neutral colouring it would not matter
They did something with the shimmers here where there are these miniscule silver glitters that really fall out unless you pack it onto something sticky and hurt (my) eyes. With or withoyt base (Dreamweaver is such a horrific eyeshadow that I always have to wash it off and my eyes and find little grains in my contacts! Today was the third and final time I will ever use that disgusting one)
The only other brand I have seen do this is in By Terry Gem Experience. That one hurts my eyes too. I think it helps save the brand money and make the item look appealing in store-
by mixing it in as a filler-
but it is totally not contributing anything to the end result apart from miniscule pieces falling out.
I THOUGHT I loved the colours but 2 weeks later of trying it almost daily and washing it off eventually either due to eye irritation (regardless of which colours were used), or looking ‘blah,’ I take it back. Looks like I used Maybelline Chai Latte
MAC Saddle, MAC Uninterrupted, Ben Nye Twilight Sable, La Femme Clove, Joe Blasco True Brown, Urban Decay Baked, Firebird, Lancôme Filigree, Burnt Sand, Shiseido Beach Grass, ABH Cognac— these are all examples of similar shades as in this palette, except they truly flatter and do not make me look washed out. Whereas this does. The end result reminds me of the looks I did with cheap makeup in the early 2000s.

Edit- it irritates my sensitive eyes. I thought it was the mascara but today i wore none and got the same itchiness and redness

I love the colours for my medium warm complexion (about NC40 in mac and C3 in f&b, usually match shades like caramel beige). They are ideal. Unfortunately the mediocre quality is not what I expected.
Most of the shimmer shades remind me of Clarins shadows (hate those) as the crumbly weird texture is the same—that always means patchiness and poor lasting power, unless u put in undue amounts of effort.
The mattes are ok quite powdery but not too bad-
and lovely, flattering colours in themselves.
I don’t know whether to return it or pass it on to a relative. UD naked original was better quality in my opinion, for the shimmers especially. UD singles are usually wonderful too. Joe Blasco mattes are my fave matte texture and compared to them the mattes here are okay – mediocre – but workable. The awful quality of their shimmer colours kills it. This is a punishment for breaking my low-buy vow.
One positive- for beginners or those who don’t mind imperfection in the final result, this is not a bad buy. EG those who love the ‘instagram version of grunge’ can get great use out of this. The patchiness and rough quality of a few shades doesn’t detract from such looks if they are intended or the person pairs it with flawless base/lips to contrast. I think I just talked myself into keeping????????♀️ it.

Naked Reloaded is the original Naked palette’s replacement, with more up-to-date softer shades that are the most popular with people when it comes to ‘everyday’ type like looks – plus there are some more sultry shades to go from desk to glam. It contains the following mix of warm, cool and -erm – neutral(?) neutral shades: Bribe (warm ivory matte), Barely Baked (soft gold metallic), Angel Fire (pale rose-gold w/iridescent micro-shimmer), Retro (bright peach matte), Reputation (deep rose-gold w/ iridescent micro-shimmer), Burn (copper-burgundy metallic), End Game (chocolate brown matte), Dreamweaver (cool brown w/iridescent 3D sparkle), Distilled (bronze metallic), Bucked (warm brown matte), Boundaries (warm terracotta matte) and Blur (light nude matte).
If you prefer quick and more simple neutral looks this is perfect or you’re someone who has to wear conservative colours to work and don’t want to spend ages getting ready in the mornings, then I recommend this palette for you as the shades are more ‘every day’ and are all complimentary to each other – you can pair any shades up together and they’ll match up nicely. If you like a bit of colour this is still a fantastic staple to have on hand; Retro adds a nice pop in the Pantone shade of the year, or you can easily pull in eyeshadow from elsewhere, or liner – it is very convenient to have my picks of more ‘essential’ everyday kinds of shadow shades/finishes all together in one palette.
All of the shadows are so finely grained, highly pigmented and apply creamily. As you’d expect from such a rich shadow, the application, blending ability and wear is exceptional – over twenty years after buying my first Urban Decay shadow I have yet to find a comparable product. The shimmer finishes are again the best wearing; they wear though my working day – over eight hours, and this time the matte shadows also wear well without primer. Maybe they’ve changed the formula as none Urban Decay’s previous matte shadows can be quite hit or miss. The micro glitter that is in a couple of the shades (Angel Fire, Reputation & Dreamweaver) contain finer glitter particles then Urban Decay’s regular glitter finishes, so I’ve not had any problems with product fallout so far.
Any issues or problems? The main thing that bothers me is that End Game is the only deep shade in the palette – they could have swapped out one or two of the lighter shades for more choice for deeper crease/liner shades. Dreamweaver has a drier formula compared to everything else; I can work with it and it looks fine once applied okay, but it’s notable for feeling different.
I used to be nutty about the original Naked palette and for years I would rarely wear anything else [half of my palette was nothing but hard pan & every other shade had heavy dents in, by the time I threw the dirty & bashed palette away], but it was beyond time for a update – the market was flooded with copies and pale imitations and every other palette that was released crammed in a few dupes. Speaking of that; I have Sultry and at quick glance there seem to be similarities, but when I look closer everything is different enough to justify owning both. I happily recommend Naked Reloaded to people; especially those who are umming and ahhing over the Soft Glam and/or Sultry palette – you get the general look and effect in comparable formulas here, but with more product for a bit less money.
No, there’s no brush with this as the brand wanted the palette to be as light and slim as possible [for working mu artists & for travel], but I don’t think it’s fair to mark the palette down for that, as you can see that you won’t be getting one in the official promo pics and launch video.

On my nw20, deep winter, 3n hair, hazel brown eyes with dark under eye circles, pink overtone with golden undertone complexion this was an epic fail. The colors ended up looking like sallow muddied yellow toned brown, blah. I LOVE ABH Soft Glam and I LOVE Naked Heat. I thought this would be along those lines but the most neutral option of the three. But, not all warms are created equal. The yellow-mustardish (once they got on my skin) tones in this palette made me look sick with my dark under eye circles. ABH was more peachy/terracotta, less yellow brown. Naked Heat was more terracotta than Naked Reloaded. When I first applied ABH SG and Naked Heat, I thought, “yaaaaaasssss”. When I first applied Naked Reloaded I thought, “maybe I picked a bad combo?”. If you have had issues with the other Naked palettes doing this, I suspect the same reaction to this one. I wasn’t expecting miracles, but I thought some workhorse mediocrity could at least be expected. And maybe it is there…but not on me.
This is also compared to ABH Sultry, but while that is a touch too cool for me and made my eyes look a bit small, the colors and makeup itself in that palette gave a much prettier look than the muddy-ness I am getting with Reoladed. However, Sultry is in a glitter case for a reason, lots of glitter and it is a much more pizazaazy palette perfect for eveings, parties and special occassions. Naked Reloaded is much more neutral, safe…and the pigmentation in Naked Reloaded is not as strong as the above three mentioned palettes. I hoping to get pics comparing all three uploaded if I can. But I have already posted them on the boards & they should be in my profile if I don’t get them uploaded here.
PROS:
– two wash shades that are wider. I love having the fleshy and whiteish wash shades
– deep matte brown…I prefer this over black for outer V stuff.
– package is sleeker and not velvet so less bulky and more purse friendly.
CONS:
– the packaging – yes it is slimmer, but it is still cloth (better than the velvet at least) and there is not a brush. This is less of an issue for me, but takes away the ease of it being slimmer for travel if you have to pack a brush too. I don’t really care if there is a brush or not (I never used them), so this may be a con or pro for you.
– I am going to guess the color story is ok here, just not on me. So the con would be that this just makes me look sallow and sick. People tend to say “it looks good on all skin tones” with some products, I am living proof that is not the case with this one. It may look stunning on someone with different coloring, but not on me.
– Pigmentation seems poor. Even the dark matte people were raving about was crumbling a touch and giving me fall out (yes, I used a primer). It was the same experience I had before with some other Naked palettes…you keep applyng color, but not really seeing much and then before you know it…muddy mess
Well, I hope this helps for now. I wanted to address how this compared to other palettes first and foremost. The packaging, the shades, the wider wash color pans, have all been addressed EVERYWHERE on YouTube. But here are quick color descriptions. How they look on you is the important thing.
Bribe – pale beige satin
Barely Baked – metallic gold
Angel Fire – peachy/gold glitter shade
Retro – pink coral matte
Reputation – coppery shade
Burn – reddish bronze shade
End Game – deep brown matte
Dreamweaver – cooler glitter tauped bronze
Distilled – yellow bronze
Bucked – good transition saddle tan matte
Boundaries – orange brown with gold flecks
Blur – fleshy beige matte. My fave of the palette
Just for comparison purposes too, I did not like how ABH Modern Renassaince or Naked Cherry looked on me. Naked Heat has been my favorite Naked palette to date. ABH Soft Glam might be all time favorite palette.
