The Love eyeshadow palette is a new limited edition palette release from the brand for Valentine’s 2020. The new Love palette contains the following shades: First (pastel peach matte), Lifetime (peach champagne shimmer), Heartbeat (warm burgundy matte), Transparent (nude pink ivory shimmer), Trust (medium purple matte), Heart (crimson red matte), Giving (coral metallic with purple sparks), Pure Love (burgundy with a purple blue shift duochrome), Commitment (deep eggplant satin), Blind (warm silver metallic), Soul (dusty rose matte), Passion (muted wine metallic with pink sparks), Intense (warm pink matte), Valentine (baby pink matte) and Dream (iris violet matte).
Bare in mind that like most brands, the red & purple shades don’t swatch really well on the skin of the arm, if you test this palette in a store. The formulas for the Love palette are as insanely good as I think that the formulas for every other shadow I’ve tried from this brand has been, on the eyes; great pigmentation [a little goes a long way, but it isn’t majorly intense in one swipe pigmentation, so it isn’t scary to work with], smooth application, extremely easy to blend, and excellent wear. There isn’t much that I can add that isn’t just pointless gushing over how great the formulas are – I have never used formulas that feel this good & apply so well, before trying out this brand.
I can’t come up with any criticisms; I don’t like my reviews to be nothing but praise for non-essential products as I don’t think it seems genuine, but I seriously cannot think of any downsides for the Love palette. People may think of the price as a negative, but you are getting a very high quality & very decent amount of product here, so I don’t think that the price is unreasonable.
This palette is well worth the price, in my opinion. The product quality is outstanding and this is a palette where I’ll wear every single shade – pinks, purples, coral and red – there’s no downside to the colour story for me. This is a short review because all I can say is “this is fantastic and you won’t regret the spurge”.

If you’re familiar with The Return of Sexy, these are the same shadow formulation. One shade – Passion actually appears to be a repeat from the ROS. I have to admit the “slurry” eyeshadow technology really left me underwhelmed. These swatched unbelievably – pigmented with one pass. But getting that same pigmentation sans glitter fallout requires work; often even the use of my fingers to “press” on the pigment or a sponge applicator to get similar payoff. Think Asian eyeshadow. This is now discontinued. I just much prefer the OG powder formula. They seem to have higher pigment, easier blending without muddiness, and less fallout. I loved the eyeliner in this palette however and have used it up completely. The color scheme of this particular palette might have paired nicer with brown liner IMO though. Ymmv
