All I got to say about this is Hell to the No! no no NO!
I’m usually a fan of too faced and their amazing quality products but wtf happened here? they totally dropped the bomb on this one if you ask me. Sure the shades look ahhmazzing in the packaging but as soon as you swatch those suckers holy sweet mother of jesus does the pigmentation (or lack there of) totally suck major you know what. No seriously.. there was no pigmentation whatsoever and no matter how meticulously you applied some of them you are left with nothing but glitter fall out..I’m talking Ke$ha territory people! perhaps the most unnerving thing is the fact that most of the focus on making this product was on the annoying and tedious packaging and not the quality of the makeup itself. This goes without saying that this has got to be one of thee worst and most dissapointing products that I have ever purchased in my life.. and belieeeve me.. I have tried a vast and endless cornucopia of makeup palettes and products and for a whopping 55 dollars? Pshh get outta town! Too faced better step it back on up for their holiday palette next year or at least drastically drop the price down for it if they are going to do the same to the quality.. Girl byeeee

Usually I look forward to the Too Faced holiday palettes, as I still use shades from their “Favorite things” palette from 2 years ago every day. This one LOOKED good in photos and even in Sephora I was momentarily awestruck enough to purchase it. I know their glitter shadows can be fall out prone, but I love using “Moon on their Wings” as a center-lid highlight. And since I had almost used it up and this new palette had it (as well as a silvery version that I don’t remember the name of), I convinced myself I needed it. However. The packaging: aside from the little paper doll-type cutouts and the little faux ‘gift-box’ package, it’s total garbage. So flimsy, the lid of the shadows doesn’t even lay flat and stay shut on its own. Very disappointing. There are large white base shadows that are new, plus a gold finish illuminator that wasn’t in my previous palette, but I can’t say that’s enough to excuse the shoddy packaging and the much smaller sized shadows in this palette. Apparently they spent all the profit from this on the stupid outside box. At least the shadows seem decent quality, but still seem a little thin vs last palette. A regret purchase for sure!!

for $72 Canadian, I thought as I swatched it on my hand, that I could handle glitter. oh I’ve been spoiled by Shu Uemura glitters for too long. the chunky glitter in a handful of these shades ends up all over the face as I place it on my lids, a reminder to Urban Decay’s glitterbomb shadows that made me question my eyeshadow application skills.
the first time I’ve been so appalled at a palette but granted, I did purchase it on a whim before all the reviews came out. even with a glitter glue, this palette is not salvageable.

People don’t realize that those Glittery shadows need a glitter base to show up. At first I was disappointed with the palette but I bought sephora’s glitterguard and now the shades look amazing and no fallout. I dislike the huge gimmicky packaging though.

Not good. I was so excited for this palette because I LOVE Too Faced and the packaging is to die for, but the cute packaging is really the only good thing about this palette. The majority of the shades are chunky glitter and look cheap, like something you would buy for 99 cents. This was a $58 palette, and while it’s gorgeous to look at, it’s just not practical There are much better holiday palettes out this year that are worth your money. (Lorac Mega Pro 2!) I have a full review with swatches on my website, jensbeautyplace.com.

I was so excited to receive this collection because it is so beautiful, but the product itself is terribly disappointing. The shadows have zero pigmentation and are just chunky glitter. Only about 3 of them are useable. The packaging is absolutely beautiful, and is the only redeeming quality for this collection.
Unless you want this for the packaging (like I did) don’t waste your money.
