   This is my favorite Colourpop palette! For $16, you get 12 shades. 6 mattes, 5 metallics, and 1 satin. This is the perfect ratio for me because I love my mattes and use those way more than other finishes. This palette is in collaboration with Kathleen Lights who is a beauty influencer on Youtube.

   My personal faves are Shooting Star and Twinkle. I think that Moony is the perfect brow bone highlight! Personally, I’m not sure why she decided to pick Star Dust to go in here because I totally forget about that shade since it’s right next to the most perfect rose gold. I find all of the shades not only swatch beautifully, but they wear on the eyes very well. This is an excellent palette and has an unbeatable price.

   I love the colors in this palette, especially shooting star, magical, moony, and elfish. The other colors are great but I need to use a light hand with them. I think they will last forever because a little goes a long way. I feel that they really settle in every single line on my lid if I don’t go very light, even with primer. For this reason I prefer the Super Shock Shadows which do not settle in lines and last very long without primer. I use Jinxie as a base and then accent with the Dream St. palette to avoid a caked on look.

   I love this palette. It’s the perfect combination of colors – I love teal as an accent color on warm looks and there’s really not much else out there that nails this color combo as well. The shadows are good quality too – I don’t mind powder kickback as long as they’re blendable and they are. I can’t say enough about this one – Kathleen and ColourPop did a great job. (I’m not affiliated, just a fan.)

   I am OBSESSED with this palette! I’d initially thought I’d hold off on buying it, but after seeing a bunch of tutorials and reviews, I decided that it was worth giving a shot. And I ADORE it!

   First off, I’ll get the boring stuff outta the way. The price is amazing at $16 for a 12-pan palette, especially for the quality. I’ve paid three times that for palettes that couldn’t perform anywhere near as beautifully, so I’d say that this is worth every penny.

   The packaging is very pretty and feels sturdy, though I’m less into cardboard packaging as I feel it can get damaged easily. However, I’m sure this packaging is what helps to keep the price down. I would have appreciated a mirror, but that’s not a necessity for me.

   Now onto the good stuff!

   Shades: This is a very harmonious palette. I feel like you can really run the gamut of different looks with it, as there’s a fair assortment of matte neutrals, gleaming shimmers, and beautiful bold shades. The colors work well together, and there doesn’t seem to be a “one of these things is not like the other” shade that could have been left out. Better still is the ability to create a number of looks using *just this palette, rather than having to bring in another palette. Often times, with more colorful eyeshadow palettes, you’ll get a collection of brights and bolds and no neutrals, or you’ll get all neutrals and then one or two random brights that don’t belong and work with zero percent of the rest of the shades. But with this palette, it really feels like there wouldn’t be a bad pairing in the bunch. I’ve even seen looks using the dark teal shades and the bright red together, and it looks stunning. This is a really rare gem of a palette because of that fact alone.

   Pigmentation: Off the chain! These are buttery, smooth, and super pigmented. The dark teal shade, “Water Bearer”, does take some building, but it’s still got better pigmentation than nearly every other shade of its kind that I’ve tried. The shimmers are absolutely stunning, with each one creating an almost foiled appearance on the lid. The neutral mattes are highly pigmented and blend like a dream.

   Overall quality: Amazing. These are highly blendable, allowing for a gorgeous gradient. No harsh edges at all once blended. There’s a little fallout, but not nearly as bad as, say, the UD Vice 3 palette. I expect fallout with bold, pigmented shadows, so I can’t take any points away for that.

   This is a great buy for the money, especially considering how versatile this palette is. I highly recommend picking it up while it’s still available. I may even grab a backup to keep on hand when I do run out of my favorite shades!

   Like my other Colourpop palettes, this is a palette where I can say that I enjoy and use every single shade that is in it – such an eyecatching selection of warmer neutral tones and cooler colour pops. You can make a variety of complete-look-in-one-palette looks with this palette, that go all the way from tamer ‘everyday’ school/work desk looks to more elaborate date/me-time glam and full-on party attention grabbers, as this is the Colourpop palette with the highest amount of matte shadow shades in it. The formula quality is great, soft feeling, richly pigmented, no problems with blending for the most-part, no colour-fade and no creasing. I’ve noticed that the shades Spark and Water Bearer both need a bit more building and blending compared to everything else, but they look good and wear well after I give them that bit more care and attention on application, so I don’t really mind having to spend a bit more time when using them.

   There is some fallout, but that has never been a problem for me so long as the shadows apply and wear well – all pigmented shadows are softer and have some fallout. The shadow pans are smaller then Colourpop’s single shadows, but that is reflected in the cost ($16 for 12 pans, versus $4 per individual shadow). I’ve got zero complaints or any major niggles with this palette; the colours are beautiful, the formula quality is great and the price of the product & international shipping rate is fantastic. I highly reccomend checking the Dream St. palette out – especially if you liked the look of the Kylie Cosmetics Blue Honey palette, since Dream St contains extremely similar shades for half the price.
