A disappointment. While usually I love Tarte shadows, occasionally I get a set that are muddy. As if the base color were a dark brown. You apply it and a darker shadow shows up even on primed lids (I use MAC Painterly or Soft Ochre as a base.)
The photo shows warm reds but it’s violet blue based, more pinks and violets with cream and pink highligher and a matte brown.
The violet color “Happening”looked like Mac’s Star Violet but went on almost like a rose brown.
The other palette I had that was a tosser was Rainforest Vol II, beautiful packaging but muddy as the bottom of a lake.
The Dream Big colors:
This Is It (rose gold)
All In (deep rose)
Go For It (brown)
You Can (gold)
Happening (plum)
Hustle (black luster)
Ambitious (cream)
Risk Taker (pale pink shimmer)
Packaging: a metal rectangular case with an aqua arrow design on gold metal. Not that pretty.
Summary: if you are very fair, and want dark shadows, it might work. Otherwise, there are so many better palettes from Tarte.

It doesn’t look that impressive but this palette is actually great quality—better than Too Faced in my opinion.
The shadows are pigmented, easy to blend, and have the perfect sheen to them.
My only complaint is that “this is it” and “risktaker” are so similar that I can’t tell the difference on the eyelid.

I like this little palette. It is great for travel and you can create a decent amount of looks with it. Its great for a wash of color or creating more complex looks. The quality is good. The shadows feel creamy, are easy to blend, and fairly pigmented. I was skeptical since this is an exclusive release, but I find myself reaching for it over some other beloved palettes I own. With some eye primer, they last all day on the eye. The shimmers are nice and the mattes don’t feel dry or apply patchy. The only shade I’m not 100% on is Hustle which is the brown with big glitter in it. My only concern is the price. I feel it should be around $20-25 rather than $30, but I picked it up on sale for less than $20.
