It’s funny because I purchased this palette originally thinking it was a Dose of Colors product. It wasn’t till after I paid that I said wait this is not Dose but the colours looked so pretty and the reviews were awesome so I figure why not. Well what a happy mistake this palette is excellent! I don’t know who Dominique Christen is in fact I’ve never even seen her video’s. The shades in this are beautiful and are supposed to work on a ton of skin tones. Not only that the shades blend and apply so well. The mattes are super buttery and creamy. The shimmers are amazing as well and look incredible in the light! A little about the shades is that they are made for cool and warmed toned people so everyone is supposed to be able to use this.
The shades are:
Hazelnut – A red or orange based brown I think it can be warm to neutral. The colour itself is super pigmented buttery smooth and I get full colour payoff in one swipe.
Caramel – is a beautiful light brown I like this in my crease. I think this leans cool to neutral. The shadow is super soft without any kickback and is very easy to blend.
Vanilla Creme – One of the best base shades I adore this yellow based creamy vanilla shade. I like how it covers my blue veins and gives me an even canvas to work with. Also this shade is great for sheering out darker shades. Super soft one of my favorites in the whole palette.
Mocha – Beautiful dark cool brown. I love it as a liner or to define my crease. A light hand is all that’s needed its super pigmented. Very soft and easily blended.
Pumpkin Spice – Great shade for warm skin tones I can’t see myself getting much use out of this. The shadow itself though is awesome soft and buttery, excellent matte.
Espresso – Beautiful shimmer shade! It has gold flecks throughout and is a light brown with silver and gold hard to describe but it is bomb! Very pigmented smooth, and buttery. All the shimmers are excellent quality.
Macchiato – Gorgeous silver inner eye highlight shade. It is just super pretty I love it and use it a lot to highlight my inner eye. Very smooth and pigmented shade.
Creme Brulee – Love this rose gold shade it goes so well with the other shades in this palette. Very buttery, pigmented, and no fallout.
Cold Brew – Is a blue but surprisingly I really like it! I’m usually not a fan of blue shadows but this is gorge! It is super pigmented, smooth, and applies as a liner in one swipe. Love!
Double Shot – Simply stunning purple! It applies opaque and in one swipe at that which is hard to do with purple shades. This one is so pretty! I think this would work on many skin tones.
About me NW20, blonde hair, green eyes, and very cool undertones for reference. I can use almost all the shades in this palette. They apply so well and you get huge pans on top of it. What I love is how soft these are, but they have zero to no kickback. The vanilla shade alone was worth it to me. The price is kinda up there for this palette. It is excellent quality though and has every neutral and shimmer you could want and they all work really well. I love how easy the shadows blend and how long they last I always use primer though.
All in all this palette is excellent I think because it has every neutral I need in one place. I also love the quality of the shadows they are really well made and wear so well. I would repurchase this as its a very good product. I also dig how it caters to both skin tones. The packaging is sturdy and it does come with a decent mirror too. So to me I’m quite happy with this! Recommended.
