   i LOVE the packaging for this, and wish elf sold makeup pans individually to fit into these palettes, as the ranges of most face palettes they release i feel are suited to multiple different skin depths, making them a risky buy for any one person. i have more info on my undertones in my profile, but to start i am about NC10~13, and don’t really love this palette.

   the highlighter is incredibly subtle, which i dont mind, but the base of it is quite rosy, so by the time i can see the reflect on my face it looks like i also put blush on the tops of my cheekbones lol. if i had pink undertones i might try to use it as an allover illuminating setting powder, but alas, i am yellow as hell.

   i really like the blush on the top right – really i feel the blushes are VERY similar in tone, but the top right has a brighter/whiter base to it than does the bottom left blush. they are both nice however.

   the bronzer is actually great! pretty much the same depth and veeery similar undertone to PF butter bronzer in “bronzer,” just ever so slightly more yellow. the color works great on my skin tone.

   again, i really do love this packaging, the mirror size is fantastic and overall the palette is very nice to look at. but i dont think i’ll repurchase..i was hoping this palette would be nice to chuck into a travel bag to bring with me on holidays, and i still think it will be good for that, but 1/4th of it is just wasted space and wasted money for me.

   This was included in a Target Beauty Box. The palette retails for $8 (a steal) and is a sleek silver square shape (perfect size to fit in your hand) with a large mirror and 4 nice size colors. The colors are pretty suited for those who love nude & peach tones (here, here). There’s a matte light brown bronzer, two matte peachy blushes and one shimmery light beige highlighter (my favorite). I’m light-medium olive toned depending on the season, The highlighter shows up best on my face with a subtle shimmer, no glitter (great for my mature age). The bronzer really didn’t do much for me. The peach blushes did show up with one being slightly darker than the other. Maybe when winter has set in and my skin tone goes to the pale olive side, the bronzer will be more noticeable. The color payoff is more apparent once you re-apply a few times, save for the highlighter, which is a slam dunk for me. As a last ditch effort, I used the four colors as eye shadows and loved the results for daytime use. The colors are still too light for a night out. I really don’t see these palette colors showing up on anyone with medium-dark or darker skin tones. Overall, the colors do live up to their name as “Beautifully Bare Natural Glow”. I will update this post once my skin tone goes full on goth in the wintertime.

   Got this in a Target beauty box and it was worth the price of the box alone. I’m not a huge devotee of ELF, but they have a few gems and this is one of them. Don’t expect a ton of pigmentation. The colors are very subtle and so far, the palette is only available in a shades that would flatter fair to light-medium skins. (C’mon ELF, what gives?!) The highlighter is a little on the chalky side, but workable. The real standout though is the bronzer which is really a soft-matte, neutral taupe shade that works PERFECTLY as a contour. I’m not huge on super-sculpted looks for day and the shade in this palette is subtle and flattering enough to fake perfect bone structure in just about any light. I wish it was available on its own, as it would be my reason to repurchase. The blushes are flattering soft peaches, but are so close in shade depth that they are nearly indistinguishable. Not a bad value overall to be sure, but not a total home run.

   For reference, my skin is fair neutral leaning towards cool so I was surprised how much I like this. This was an impulse purchase and there wasn’t an open palette at the store but it was only $8 CAD. All four shades are suited best for fair skin, I think even medium skin would have an issue with the bronzer showing. The colours are all sheer but buildable, and neither the bronzer or peach blushes pull orange on me. The highlighter is probably the only weak link as it’s subtle to the point of hardly noticeable, but it does give off a bit of a glow so it’s not a total dud. If used separately, you can create a nice sculpted cheek or if you’re lazy you can swirls your brush and create a nice flushed look and it wears all day.

   The only improvements I can think of would be to either create more of a difference between the two blushes (both are matte peach shades that look very similar) or get rid of one and make a trio, and they should create a dark palette as well like their blush and bronzer palettes.

   This is a nice quad of colors. I’d say it’s really only best for light-skinned women, or maybe the lighter end of the medium spectrum. But it’s a good little set. The highlighter is subtle, more a fine shimmer than glittery, which I prefer. The bronzer is subtle. The two blushes are matte, both kind of peachy-apricot in color. The individual colors are large enough where you can use them individually, but it’s easy enough to swish a brush around two, three, or all four, for endless combinations. The packaging is great, too, in that there’s a nice mirror on the inside. I tend to go most gaga over those, since they’re excellent for getting a good view while putting on makeup. (At least for me, since I have crappy eyesight and can really get in there while putting on eye shadow or what-have-you with these.)

   I bought this because I’m a fair redhead and it looked like it’d go well with my coloring and not be too overpowering. When I first tried this the only thing I got pigment out of was the bronzer, I was so disappointed. I tried it 2 more times before I tossed it aside in the get rid of pile.
   Today I read a post that mentioned scraping the top later off of elf blushes to get to the pigment so I tried it and it works! I really like the finish of this palette now, its soft and natural but gives great color. Now I regret tossing all those other elf blushes in the past. Maybe I’ll give them another shot now that I know the secret to getting good wear out of them.
   I also just realized why highlighters are so coveted. My skin has gotten blah since nearing 40, i never really found a need for highlighter till now but I have seen the (high)light!

   I’m fair, pale & slightly warm, about NC 15. This palette is perfect for me although I boost the blush color by layering it over a cream blush on my cheeks. The highlighter is maybe my favorite shade of the 4 in this palette: a pale coolish silver-taupe. I use it often as an eyeshadow and it’s gorgeous foiled this way. Both blushes and the bronzer/contour can also work as an eyeshadow, especially the peachier of the blushes which can serve as orange-leaning transition color. Agree that it prob. won’t work on darker complexions, but the fact that the shades are softer means you can use it without any risk of overdoing it.

   A wonderful, inexpensive palette with soft and buttery powder highlight, blush and contour shades. The highlight is a beige/taupe shade with a soft subtle shimmer but does show up on my skin in a very flattering way, not chunky or glittery at all. The other 3 powders are soft matte. Two options for blush – pink and peach – which look nice on their own but even better when blended together. There is a yellow undertone in the contour/bronzer shade, definitely does not pull orange or red, more like a golden tan shade, very much like Benefit’s Hoola bronzer. I think this palette is best suited for fair to light/medium skin tones otherwise they likely won’t show up. I found the contour shade needed some serious swatching to remove whatever layer was on top before it would show up but once I uncovered it I’ve been happy with the amount of pigmentation. I have been really enjoying this palette, even more than the IT Cosmetics one I have which is also about 10 times the cost. They named this palette perfectly because it truly is “Beautifully Bare – Soft and Subtle”. Packaging is quite nice with a large mirror and silver case, although it does easily show fingerprints. If you have pale/fair skin I recommend you give this a try. I have somewhere between fair and medium skin tone and I have no problem with this showing up on my skin and I use all 4 powders equally in the palette which is a bit of a surprise because there is usually at least one that is useless. Not so with this collection. Well done e.l.f. If anything were to happen to this or if I finish it, I would repurchase in a New York minute.

   LOVE this palette! It’s one of the few face palettes i’ve found for my pale skin. The bronzer is soft enough and not to orange. The blushes and highlighter are also subtle, which i fine a good thing. Definitly recommend if you have pale skin

    This costs 24$ here in Norway. For a drug store that’s pricey. The highlight was no show on my skin, and bronzer to light.
