   This was one of the most useful palettes I ever had. I still have it to occasionally swatch and compare other items against- I always find that this wins on different points (texture, effect, lasting power). Not a single dud- oh except the true white shade which is not as good as the others in quality. (to be fair the pale gold, bronze and dark brown are the good ones, the other side is mediocre). The main bad thing was the lippies needed to have been compartmentalized better but still amazing for a beginner especially. If anyone has this you are very lucky. The bronze and deep brown are the type of rich multidimensional but elegant and smooth textured (shimmer well integrated) shadows that nothing else could match and only Dior could do.

   This one, is a gorgeous palette! It has gorgeous colors. All shadows are beautifully pigmented except the light pink. The shadows are very Smooth. There is a matte illuminator-which is great if you don’t like sparkles or you want an all over matte look- a blush and a powder. In my opinion the blush is very very small and hard to use. It is is high quality.

   Every single bit of this is A+, with the exception of the lip colours, which are about as pigmented as a 2 dollar bonnebell lip balm. The mascara, powders, and eyeshadows are amazing. Also i love how convenient this is for anybody on the go. A proper blusher would be nice, esp considering how pricey this is, but -shrugs-

   Upon looking at other palettes, it seems like this one is almost a “shrunken” version of “Expert Travel Studio (All over makeup palette the essential of Dior makeup)”, review at :

   That is, without the eyeliner and brushes. The eyeshadow shades look eerily similar. This set includes:

   – Pretty shiny leather makeup bag/pouch
   – 6 * 1.25g eyeshadows, shades of 739, 602, 562, 951, 070, 105
   – Diorshow EXTASE mini mascara, 4ml
   – 2 * 1.1g lipbalms in 069 (I guess shade 069 is a duo? the box only says this one shade)they seem more like glosses to me)
   – 2 * 1.1g lipstick in 674
   – 7g of DIORSKIN nude natural glow sculpting powder makeup, spf 10
   – Sponge for applying the above powder
   – 1 dual-ended sponge tip applicator
   – 1 dual-ended lip brush

   As always, the shadows and powders are velvety and finely milled. I like how the two lightest shades of shadow are light enough yet different enough. The top left one is whiter, frostier, whereas the lightest one one the right hand trio is warmer. This one is a little similar to the middle shade on the Left hand trio, but brighter a touch more golden. I’m a little disappointed in the darkest shade on the left trio because it’s more of a… pink/fuchsia and a little less pigmented than the rest. I can see the middle right hand trio as a very versatile taupe shade that adds dimension without being a run-of-the-mill taupe (IMO). I think this one’s my favorite shade (and I’m usually a purple fiend!). The darkest color, the top right color, is a little more matte, whereas the four lightest shades are a hint more metallic.

   I don’t know how I feel about the sculpting powder because I haven’t tried it on my face yet and I’m a little confused as to how I’m supposed to use it.

   Overall, this is the throne of my vanity counter. Just looking at it makes me sigh in pleasure. I managed to get this relatively cheaply because my friend was moving and rarely uses make up (impulse buy when she was bored in the airport) so she sold it to me at a discount. All excellent products and it definitely hits most things I’d need for travel. HOWEVER, I will bring separate foundation and makeup brushes because I have terrible skin and can’t stand using sponge applicators lol. The reason I took off a lippy is that I assume it’d be very expensive, that the lip shades are too pink/cool toned, and I’ll need brushes (they provide a sponge for the powder but really I’m not gonna use it). If you are lucky enough to get this cheaply, POUNCE on it.
