I have had this on my wishlist since it came out I think in 2013. It is 40$ dollars making it one expensive small palette. I always wanted this and mineralize blush- warm soul for everyday makeup looks. Gotta em’ both????I’m NC20 with green eyes with amber flecks, and lots freckles, peach toned skin. And this works great for me, I look like a Greek goddess lol. Golden makeup looks great on me.
I love the packaging I was messsing around with it and found its easy to swipe left to right gently with brushes. The overall appearance looks very nice. The shadow formulas is a dream…it’s like butter! It bends very nicely and from when I used it, I saw little fallout. I can watch and try this out tomorrow in the sunlight for a serious inspection. So far I’m happy and don’t have buyers remorse. I definitely feel like I am going to use this everyday and love it. I’ve used it once and brushed my finger and brush in each color a couple times and so far it isn’t showing pan yet which some people review about. Hopefully this last a long time for the price.
What lured me to this a long time ago was the gold shade, it has multi colored gold pink and PURPLE shimmer in it, it’s gorgeous. I’ve owned quite a few gold eyeshadows and this is by far, my favorite .
The darkest one is a deep rich purple brown and it’s so beautiful for creases and lashlines. It creates an amazing smokey eye it’s really dark. When applied wet it almost looks black.
The second from darkest is a taupe brown that look almost asteroid greenish in certain light it’s lovely I can’t believe how beautiful all the colors are and oh so pigmented and vibrant.
The top two are a copper-coral colors that’s light and great for transition blending. The white is a nice highlighter but I found it a bit chalky when applied but blended out nicely.
Overall they are very flashy and pigmented but aren’t as glittery as urban decays naked palettes. I can easily see someone over twenty buying this too.
I’m using this under urban decays priming potion. And the lasting powers is insane this won’t come off. Literally I forgot I was wearing makeup and rubbed my eye forever and it still looks perfect.
When people ask me about makeup I always tell them Mac eyeshadows are my favorite. I love them.
MAC NAILS EYESHADOWS PERIOD…I can’t wait to get the Greenluxe.
One thing is I’m always scared of ruining eyeshadows when they say you can apply it wet or dry. I did spray avene water on my brush and try the dark brown and gold wet and it’s freaking insane. And it seems like it won’t totally ruin the quality of the palette because it still looked unused after directly wiping the wet brush on there. Um scared of it hardening. So I don’t know if I’ll use it wet alot.

It’s a decent everyday palette. I have nc42/ olive skin and the copper shade doesn’t even show up on me. The lightest/ highlight shade does have a bit of fallout so definitely use a primer or concealer before applying

Recently I went to MAC and bought a few new things to try out. One of those items was the Brownluxe Veluxe Pearlfusion shadow palette. The girl helping me at the counter told me all the great things about these shadows, namely that they could be used wet or dry. I thought this was pretty cool so I picked one up for the steep price tag of $48.
This palette has 5 shadows. The centre shadow is the one that drew me to this palette as it is a beautiful gold colour. The colours in this palette all swatch beautifully and blend well – which is typical for a mac eyeshadow. With this palette I can create a few different looks for both day and evening.
However, this is nothing overly exciting about this palette that made it worth the $48. The only real problem i have with this palette is that the colours come in very thin stripes which make them hard to access if you want to apply them with a medium-size brush or bigger. The are slightly more pigmented when used wet, but is not impressive enough that it should be a huge selling point of this product.
Overall, this is a good product, but nothing special. Because the price tag is so high, I would not recommend this product unless you have the cash to spend. There are better mac products available instead.
