This is easily one of my favorite 12 pan Viseart eyeshadow palettes (and I own six of them, btw). The colors are richly pigmented, easy to blend, and gorgeous on the eyelids. My favorite aspect of this palette, however, is how incredibly easy it is to mix the eyeshadows together! On myself, I love combining Violet and Blue Diamond together for a periwinkle blue / lilac-y color that never fails to brighten up my eyes. And last week, I used Champagne (which also makes an incredible highlighter, btw) and Copper on my friend which turned out absolutely stunning on her. It’s truly a great palette for brides.
On the price: It is incredibly expensive. To be honest, I wouldn’t recommend this for someone who is not planning to be a makeup artist anytime soon. For pros, this stuff is awesome because the packaging is simple, the pans are deep and the palette has plenty of product. And the quality is just outstanding.
For regular beauty junkies, I’d get the 9 pan, 6 pan or the Petit Pros because those are more budget friendly and you still get the Viseart magic formula. I also think that the color story of the smaller palettes tend to be more cohesive than the 12 pan palettes, and it might be a lot easier to work with due to smaller choices of colors as well.

Oh boy – yes I know how much people love Viseart’s eyeshadow and trust me it was not easy for me to post this poor review but here we go!
This was the first Viseart pro palette I have purchased. I am a makeup junkie especially when it comes to eyeshadows. I have heard so much rave about Viseart – how pigmented and easy to blend and true to color all of their eyeshadows are. Granted some of the reviews stated that their matte shadows are their true forte and not so much the shimmery shades but I picked Bridal Satin because I was so drawn to the gorgeous purple shades I decided to order from Sephora. And I was so glad I did because I was able to return it.
First off, the pigmentation is there but so much more sheer than I imagine it would be. For reference my skin tone is NC35 so I am not even that dark. Especially disappointed by both of the purple shades – no matter how much I apply it just looks like a light wash of iris/lavender on my lids instead of the vibrant purple shown in the pan. The other shades are pretty but nothing to write home about.
Now – perhaps the most surprising thing is the total lack of wear. I prime my eyelids just as usual and let me just say I can make any eyeshadow work (99% of the time anyway) but these started fading on me past 6 hour mark. I do everything else exactly the same and I am so shocked.
After trying to make them work for a week I finally gave up. I went back to Sephora and exchanged for the 01 Neutral Matte palette – which I enjoy WAY MORE. I would definitely not recommend and if you decide to take the plunge then you should make sure you can return/exchange it.
