I fell in love the moment I saw this blush palette and immediately ordered it directly from Jouer. They did an excellent job carefully wrapping it in their custom tissue paper, cushioned it well and included a hand-written note.
The palette itself is cardboard, a little bit chintzy to me, like an ABH palette. It is embossed with a raised pattern that seems like it would get easily destroyed so I keep it in its box because the box doesn’t add any more space. It contains 3.0 g / 0.11 oz. per pan and the pan size is decently sized so getting a blush brush in an individual pan is no problem. It has 3 matte shades and 3 shimmers.
The blush itself is excellent, very pigmented and easy to apply and blend. I wear shade 1N2 ecru in Estee Lauder’s double wear light and feel most of the shades are wearable, even the brightest shade of pink called “seduce me”. The shade “treasure me” is a bit odd, it is described as a bronze tangerine and I am hesitant to use it on my cheeks. I have, however, used it on my eyes and think it looks gorgeous as an all-over lid color.
I haven’t used that many brands of blush but think this is worthy of anyone who is a blush palette lover and wants something unique in their collection, more so for the brand but not because of the shades as I think anyone could find these colors elsewhere. I got it because I think it’s a beautiful palette and would definitely replace it if lost/used granted it’s still available should that happen.
