Yes they work. The sheets even get oil off my face which is hardly there and which my Boots Skin Clear blotting papers don’t remove; however, this is probably because it’s such a little amount which you aren’t really meant to remove because it’s healthy for the skin, but, I’m no expert. The packaging is sturdy and slim, perfect for taking out with you, also, the mirror is a decent size too. I will probably carry around this empty product just for mirror so it’s not a total waste. Furthermore, I know some blotting papers like NYX can cost around £5 so I guess the price of this product is quite a good standard competitive one.
I have 2 actual issues with the product..
Firstly, I got through them so fast it was almost as if there was only 30 sheets in them? Funny because there is only 30 compared to the 50 in Boots Skin Clear. Also, due to the amount of oil it somehow picked up I felt compelled on some occasions to use 2 sheets and the second still absorbed alot of oil somehow. Therefore, I got through it too quickly to the point it lasted a week or two compared to my normal Skin Clear ones which lasts me a month on average. Considering both cost what £4 each I was kinda annoyed to say the least.
Secondly, the product states ‘anti-shine protection up to 6 hours’ what kind of crap is that? My face went back to oily around 2 hours later. It’s enough to say I’m not impressed and hence won’t buy again.
