Agree with the poster who says you gotta have a base coat. I apply the Millionnails, then the white tip, then the other color in the kit. When I apply the sticker to one hand, I really press hard using a fingernail on my other hand which is applying the sticker to make sure they stay down. I hope that makes sense, as it is kind of hard to explain!

From reading reviews and from my own experience I’m beginning to think that the key to using these guides is to first apply a coat of nailpolish or base coat.
Let the base coat dry, then stick nailguides on firmly.
Apply white polish and let it dry.
THEN remove the guide strips.

These are absolutely worthless. These guides don’t stick well enough to the nails, so the polish always oozes under and looks smeared and extremely messy. After I bought them multiple times, they did NOT work for me, so I threw them away. I haven’t bought those stickers ever since. Don’t waste your time or money on these; they are very frustrating.
