I got the KISS No Chip French set (with the little tab on the ends of the nails). The only other set I’ve ever tried is Nailene Nail Salon (see my review and pix), which I liked pretty good. These are performing even better than the Nailene set. It’s been 8 days now – I had two fall off over the week but I didn’t lose them and just glued them back on and no other issues. They say No Chip and by golly they are no chip. They are also no stain – I got ink and paint and glue on them during crafting and it just washed off. They are just now starting to show signs of lift around the edges and you can just see a bit of cloudiness under the nails now, but otherwise I’m really impressed. The tips are numbered on the tabs so you can find your matching set once you pick out the ones for your first hand, and also you can just carry along those numbers if you are traveling.
They only had the short ones so the french polish tip is a third of the way down my nail bed which I thought was kind of weird looking at first, but they do look great. They are Brillo white and the beds are a soft pink and I got compliments the first day I was wearing them. They’ve stayed Brillo white the whole time. I filed down the sides using the enclosed file and that took about an hour and the file didn’t last well past the first hand. I should have trimmed them first instead of just relying on the file. That’s what took the longest to do.
The glue is strong and a bit messy. I didn’t trim my natuarl nails before applying because I didn’t want to lose any length in case these didn’t work out. It’s a little weird having a double thickness almost to the tips – will trim next time. Also when you look at the nail tips headon, you can see a little gap where the tab came out, but you can’t see that from above.
When reusing the glue I had to repoke a hole in the tip to get the glue out. I’m heading to new york on holidays for a week and was wondering what to do about my nails. Now that I know they’ll last a week, these are what I’m going to wear, and bring the extra tips and glue with me. I need to remove them tonight, so I’ll trim them down, use acetone remover and see how easy it is to get them off.
Overall, an easy do up with impressive long lasting results.

I tried these after salon nails for over 7 years. I purchased the brush-on glue separately as I read this works much better. I’m VERY hard on my nails – cleaning, yard work, etc. and they tend to look worn out quickly (even when they’re done professionally). I tried these for a party since I just don’t have the time to go to the salon. I was expecting these to last a few days – max – and it’s been 3 weeks and not a single nail has came off or chipped. The secret is to use a nail file to ‘rough up’ your natural nails (removing any shine or oils) before applying the glue to both your natural nails as well as the artificial nail. I’m very impressed. These nails look very natural, didn’t chip or have any discoloration and took me 15 minutes to apply. I’m going to try their new acrylic nails today. I found the pink and white ones and they look exactly the same as my salon nails, if not better. Hoping these last just as long. Love the convenience of not having to visit the salon and shell out $50 or $60 and knowing I can do my nails in maybe 30 minutes (including removing the old set) whenever it’s convenient for me. Who doesn’t love saving time and money?? 🙂

The Broadway nails are better than these. These I had bubbles in after a few days but they did stay on good (I used Kiss brush on nail glue which I buy separately). They are really pretty & I prefer medium length. I can get 2 manicures out of a box of them. The gel ones are even better! I never go to the nail salon. I’ve been doing these for ~6 months, I make sure to carry nail glue in my bag for if I pop one off. The sizes are pretty good. I never paint my nails now coz I do these instead. You can buy them at any DS/grocery store for about $6 or $7. Soooooo good in general. I can wear these usually for a week then I take them off w Cutex 100% pure acetone, a nippers, & cotton rounds is all u need to take them off w/o much hassle.

this review is for the KISS Salon Acrylic nails. The package reads, “ultra flexable, flawless fit, no bubbles.” Overall, this is a great product for emergency nail fix or if you don’t want to pay the money at a real salon and want the salon look. The reason I gave this product 4 stars for overall rating is because after applying, I do see a few bubbles. It’s not terrible, but it’s there. As far a price goes, I paid $8 for one set which included the glue and a crappy nail file. The nail file wasn’t enough for me because I had to file the sides down pretty well on all fingers to give it a more natural/clean look. After about 45 minutes of applying, filing and adding one layer of top coat, I would have to say my nails look pretty good! They’re hard like acrylics, thin like solar and cost 1/2 of the price.
tips- make sure you use a lot of glue and press on all sides for 10 seconds. This will push the bubbles out. Too little glue will also leave bubbles. Also, do your thumbs and pinkies first, it’ll make it easier for you. Also, have some back up emery boards.

My absolute favorite are the petite size. Even though my nails aren’t petite, it makes them the perfect extra short length. For a busy mom they’re perfect!! And the chip free ones are awesome! I’ve applied these hundreds of times over the past several years. If I have an event I never feel completely done until my nails are, and these are fast & much cheaper than a salon manicure. Application tip: do your thumbs last & once you place the glue on the nail, pick it up with the hand you’re going to place it on. That way you flip it around with the opposite hand.

I am really surprised by all of the positive reviews here because these did not work at all for me… While they did have a great fit to my nail sizing (a major plus) they came off easier and quicker than any other at home nails I have ever used. And I go through a lot of brands! I had this same issue with the white tips and the black tip nails – both started falling off the very next day. I even switched nail glues out to a better brand when I re-applied them but the same thing happened. It was actually embarrassing because I was away from home and couldn’t replace the one’s which fell off somewhere at some unknown point in the day, making it super obvious my nails weren’t real. That was a major shame because I really liked the black French tip one’s a lot.
Another major issue I had with this brand is that the glue showed unevenly through the nail since it is a neutral clear-ish fleshy tone. Kinda hard to explain but basically it was reminiscent of air bubbles. Again here I tried a variety of ways to rectify this issue but to no avail. Although someone would have to examine my nails super close to see this, fact of the matter was I noticed it and I got all OCD over it.
Even though it was convenient to be able to grab these at any local store (unlike other brands I like), the end result was actually an inconvenience. I won’t be repurchasing these.

I’ve used acrylics for years before switching to kiss nails. I made the switch in 2004 when I was in a pinch. I’ve never gone back.
With arcylics I always:
-had major nail damage. even when they would use a manual buffer vs electric.
-was in the salon every 4-5 days (maybe why I had damage like I did), because I always broke nails
-would get aggrivated because no matter what, since human error was a factor, have some issue w/unevenness/crookedness. (My right hand has bigger nails than my left)
-spent at least $65/mo between fills, full sets & broken nails
With kiss I
-spend about $11 a month (I know all my nails sizes & can get 2 sets pper box)
-never have to worry about unevenness
-never have issues w/damage. (The bumps some people refer to happen when nails are soft/wet & you push down to hard/at a slight angle. totally avoidable w/practice)
-can replace a broken nail in 20 seconds
I wear medium everyday. may do long if I’m doing something trashy. typically I will file my thumbs down to the short length for practical reasons. medium sticks out 1/4″ at most if I use bigger sizes on me so can be used in most hospital type enviorments where 1/4 is the max for women & 1/8th max for men.
I do better w/fewer decisions but for those who like to vary it up kiss makes diff colored nails, french is not only option. to paint them DO NOT buy the guarunteed chip free, you won’t get through the white tip. instead find ones which are “painted/printed” on. You can use regular french by kiss or boadway (made by kiss) and use polish remover to remove the topcoat & tip, then paint away. just be carefcul not to get remover under the nail toomuch or it will dissolve the glue. PM me for questions. I’ve applied em 500 times so I’ve run in to every scenario.
Now w/the everlasting there is no fading after a few days. its fabulous. I used to file them down 1mm to even out the polish I

These nails are so AWESOME and no one will know that they are press-ons. I know that press-ons of the past have gotten a bad rap, but if you haven’t tried these ones lately your mind will quickly change.
I love that the press-on nails are light pink see through on the nail bed and you are applying the nail with a pink gel glue, giving that I just came from the nail salon look. Each nail is number, so it makes it easier to match it to the other hand. The press-ons don’t chip and have a bit of shine to them, like you applied a clear coat of polish.
I was in a rush (when I put them on last) and didn’t have time to prep my nail and found the nails didn’t stay on as long as when I prep them. And what I mean by prep is pushing the cuticles down and buffing your natural nail bed, then applying them. And just an FYI on the package it does say only wear them for 7 days, but I’m a rule breaker at heart and I’ve worn them up to 2 wks.
These are a great idea if you have a special occasion and don’t have time or money to get your nails done.

My first time using at 32 years of age. $5 for a full hand and replacement nails if one is damaged. Mine lasted a week. I would have been satisfied with a day. I work in a professional setting for a public office and after a long labor day weekend of boating, grilling, cooking, showering and conditioning my hair with them, no lifting or fear of it falling off. I gave my briefing upon my return to work in confidence. No one had a clue. Hee hee! Not even my husband, who loves and carefully inspects the $60 manicures I’ve gotten in the past from the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon & Spa. Finally I confessed to my girlfriend of 13 years that they were fake, and she was shocked and thrilled at the same time.
I think the key to a natural finished look is placing the correct size, trimming/shaping, and using right amount of glue. I also made sure that my nails were buffed dry and wiped with alcohol so the glue and nails had no oil on them. I expected maybe 3 days out of them, but 8 days later and they are just now starting to lift, so I removed them. My nails are in good condition, they need a hydrating treatment and a good buffing, but nowhere near the damage that would occur when I used to get french acrylics years and years ago. I’m not really a fan of fake nails, but these were a great alternative when I didn’t have time for a french manicure before I left town. Bonus, no dry time and you save tons of money. Just make sure you carry glue and back up nails with you (or polish) just in case! 😉
