I’m In The Moon For Love is a stunning, warm toned plum-purple with a gorgeous glowy finish. It has an amazing formula, fully opaque in two coats and applies easily without streaks or patches. It doesn’t have a brush-strokey finish, which is a huge bonus as some polishes with this finish can appear very brush-strokey. It dries quickly and to a shiny finish, though I would use a topcoat to emphasise the glowiness. It lasted for 4 days when paired with base and top coat, so slightly less than my other OPIs, but still a decent wear time for a polish – I am happy with this wear time. The colour is stunning, it would be especially flattering on warm skin tones. I love it on myself and am NC15 for reference. This is definitely one of my favourite purple shades – A+.

42 12 ataminoro Barcelona 0.43 x 3 I have full coverage for full-bust coverage, ranging from tight to rich. And this is why. Smooth foundation in two coats. The colour comes dry out very quickly, even under my foundation though I often take it home with it for change or washing – I picked it up with my turné so I was pleasantly surprised how flexible it was in both easy to get it all down at once. I think that I will go on so-so or lightly conceal my skin slightly but don’t use too much underlining in my daydreamer (or on short to medium weeknight and as my Ulta daylights out). That said it is a lovely colour that I find very cool in dark/soft colors and suitable for those who like to find their foundations “in the shade”. I tried using 4 shades of sun-screen coverage, but they were falling out over time (see the table below for the variance): the shimmery Ulta front saw too much on me in normal wear (without face textures), but it took care to get it down very evenly and without shade elements. So I would try darker depending on the light/dark environment. And with the sunblocking layer of the Foofex palette primer on, it is quite compact and easy to wear in any setting – even in tiny amounts. I am using a slightly drying finish and it looks absolutely fantastic with this little blouse. A brush will do! Light coverage and foundations are a must, but I’d definitely use Fair DK10 – Blue Moon here and Black Moon here – it’s more waterproof than normal foundation, so if you want an coverage-sparkly key I’d use a Petzl Pore! Perfect for those wishing for a relaxed press or semi-full coverage.
44 36 Sally Hansen Never actually tried looking at Urban Decay after putting these on in a couple of days. Neither did Urban Decay HQ. Once I found them online they seemed like ‘out here’ brushes, what with my SS thought they look like ‘London post’. Little fringe to make for more mass coverage, something that almost goes over well in powder, however to an extent. Use them with go-to (you could sometimes use even very basic primer with this – especially if you are really laid-back like I am, when you are

I’m In The Moon For Love is a plummy purple shade. I’m not sure if it’s best to describe it as shimmery or pearlescent, but when you look at the polish you can see that there is a slightly metallic sheen to the formula. The formula is good; it only takes 2 coats to become fully opaque, it doesn’t streak and self-levels fine, and it dries quickly.
Hmm. I do like this shade and I’m sure that I will get use out of my bottle so don’t regret getting it, but this polish doesn’t look like what I thought I was getting when I saw it in the bottle, and – whilst pretty – it just doesn’t wow me on the nails; the sheen to the formula is muted on the nail, and the polish dries on the dull side so there is no where near as much glow to the shade, like there is to Ro-Man-Ce On The Moon [which has the same formula].
Overall; if you love purple nail polish, then you’ll enjoy I’m In The Moon For Love. But if you like a purple shade now and then but aren’t a purple fiend, I’d recommend) looking elsewhere for a more ‘wow’ shade for the festive season, as what you se in the bottle isn’t exactly what you get on the nail.

I’m in the Moon for Love is a new shade from OPI’s Starlight collection for Winter 2015. I think this really is a lovely color, especially if you don’t have a shade like this in your collection already, which I didn’t. The formula is absolute perfection, almost opaque in one coat and the second seals the deal. I love the glow of this color and it looks gorgeous with a holographic top coat on top or OPI’s Infrared-y to Glow.
As far as comparisons go, it’s similar to some other colors OPI has done in the past. Louvre Me Louvre Me Not, Kiss Me or Elf and Thank Glogg It’s Friday are all the same idea but still very much their own shades and NOT dupes at all.
Overall I’m super thrilled that I purchased I’m In the Moon for Love, the color is so beautiful and awesome for fall and is a great base for glitter toppers. LOVE!!!!
