I bought the above gellaka kit here in Australia off eBay for $39 aud. It came with light & 6 gels. I thought the price point was excellent! But it was a blind buy because I couldn’t find many reviews on it! I bought it anyway!
Now I’m a girl that doesn’t normally wear polish. I have short week nails, I have 2 young kids and I’m generally using my hands a lot for washing, dishes, gardening ect.. Nails polish never stays on me!! It would literally chip the same day! So I never bothered with it.
A year ago I tried sensationail because it had so many good reviews, it chipped and pealed off my nails the day after application. So I gave up for a while. I wanted to give gel nails another go so I blindly bought this kit. And guess what? I’m loving it!!!!
I’m on day 5 and I’ve only had to touch up one index finger! I’m so absolutely happy that I can finally wear nail polish for more than one day! It stays so glossy and shines incredibly! For me Gellaka works a hell of a lot better than Sensationail. It has a 9w led lamp as sensationail has a 7w lamp. I’m not sure if that is what helps it or if there base coat and gels are better staying for my nails than sensationail.
I’m so happy with the product. I would definitely repurchase. I’m actually considering buying another kit now as a backup! Love love love gellaka!

I can’t believe no one has reviewed this yet! I usually never ever paint my nails because if they chip it just irks me. I usually end up peeling the polish and breaking a nail. It was a special occasion so I went to the nail salon for a set of shellac or gel nails. I really loved how it stayed for 2 weeks! I’ve gone back a few times and I just hate how the removal process is. First you soak your nail in foil with acetone. But it’s the next part that I hate. The ladies scrape and buff your nails so much your real nail is left paper thin. I didn’t want to do it again but kind of had to since my nails were left so fragile.
So one day on Hautelook.com they had this Gellaka kit for $59. I think they even did a Groupon deal. The starter kit (pink glam) is over $200 on Gellaka.com
I don’t really care for pink but thought it was safest choice. So yesterday I went to Sally’s and bought some different colors from a different brand that work just fine with the Gellaka base and top coats.
I gave it 4 lippies since I paid less than retail price.
The removal is so much easier! You do still have to soak your nails, but the polish scrapes off so much easier. The kit was worth it at that price and I don’t have to spend $40 to get my nails done every 2 weeks. I just have to master the art of making them look good.
