   So I bought the small sample size to try it out. It is actually not so bad. It sinks in well on my skin. It is between a cream and gel texture. It doesnt feel like any of those luxurious creamy moisturiser mainly because I don’t think it contains any silicone. But it moisturises my face fair enough especially after layering this on top of my face oil. I wouldn’t mind buying the full jar. Would cost me 39.90€ for 60ML.

   I got the sampler kit, and this is the item I would most likely purchase the full size of when it runs out. I really hate the clear jar packaging bc I worry about the skin benefiting ingredients deteriorating and this is an expensive product, but this just feels so good going on. My makeup sits on my skin nicer and this is light enough to use for the day, and moisturizing enough for nighttime use as well. The scent is amazing. It smells just like a green smoothie and I find it so uplifting. My skin is very sensitive and so so reactive and this calms my skin and makes it feel better. I wish YTTP would consider repackaging, even just making the glass jars opaque if nothing else, but I love this moisturizer and I do think I’ll be repurchasing.

   Light and clock full of moisture. This stuff sinks right into skin. Best paired with their glow oil makes for a great duo. The texture of that is a cream/gel formula. Very basic one can’t expect crazy expectations from this.

   I got this as a sample and ended up buying the full size. I use this a few times a week as a moisturizer before bed. Feels soothing on the skin, absorbs quickly without living a heavy, sticky feeling as some moisturizers do, and I usually wake up with my skin feeling baby soft. Yes, it is expensive, but I don’t use it every night (I rotate it out with other moisturizers), so it is lasting me a while.

   I was excited to try this moisturizer but it didn’t work out for me. I have combination skin and this didn’t moisturize my dry spots enough and I ended up with flaking. Would probably work well for those with oily skin. Would not repurchase.

   I did not like the scent to this moisturizer, too woodsy for my liking. I like my skin care not to be heavily scented. As a moisturizer worked well with my combination-oily acne prone skin. I used it at night, I like spf for my morning moisturizer. Applies easily to the skin. Seems to soak in about 5 minutes with very thin application. My sephora play sample lasted all month for me. It’s an average moisturizer, I didn’t appreciate anything super dramatic with this cream. Don’t plan on purchasing this in the future.

   Youth to the People Age Prevention Moisturizer Cream – featuring kale, spinach, and green tea. It’s like a health nut’s favorite green smoothie whipped into a moisturizer. Oh, and there’s also hyaluronic acid, but I’m sure nobody’s going to be sipping on that ingredient. While this product sounds promising with its grandiose claims, I found it to be rather subpar.

   First of all, regarding its core function as a moisturizer, it failed to accomplish that. It’s actually really weird: as you spread it across your face, it doesn’t feel hydrating, but almost as if it’s sapping the moisture out of your face, leaving you worse than before. Now this might be due to the hyaluronic acid, which can undesirably pull water from the skin instead of from the air if there isn’t enough atmospheric vapor around (i.e., in low humidity areas). So I can’t really fault the product for this issue. Fine, whatever. I still think a moisturizer should still be able to quench your skin, no matter the climate. Day or night, with this cream, I always had to follow up with a richer moisturizer.

   Secondly, this product didn’t improve my skin’s condition whatsoever. Redness, fine lines, elasticity – zip, zilch. Even from reading the product description on Sephora’s website, their claims regarding the benefits of each ingredient sound like hogwash.

   Thirdly – the price. $48 for 2 oz. of cream. Certainly not the most ludicrous, but still. Not to mention, this stuff has a distinctly whipped texture, which means it’s full of air, so even though it may appear copious in the jar, it really isn’t since it flattens out once you apply it.

   And lastly, I have to mention the container. They decided to use a glass jar, where the sun will penetrate and destroy the active ingredients slowly over time, while it’s simultaneously being subject to the open air also degrading it every time it’s opened? Baffling decision.

   Sephora, thank you for sending samples of this product out in this month’s Play Box to let consumers know not to purchase this. Muahaha.

   This product is literally a super creamy, supercharged green juice for the face. Housing ingredients such as spinach and kale, this cream is a wonderful anti-aging, small amounts of Vitamin A-induced powerhouse, chock full of other nutrients such as Vitamin E, B Vitamins, a small amount of Vitamin C and water-binding, rehydrating hylauronic acid.

   This product also contains no shea butter (rare for a good moisturizer) and no coconut derivatives either, which is hard to come by, but those ingredients are highly comedogenic for me in most formulas. This contains no oil that I see other than some Sunflower oil, which is very lightweight and has been shown to possibly balance out oil production and reduce scarring in people with oily and/or just acne-prone skin. My skin is mostly naturally dry and dehydrated, but it is prone to pretty steep hormonal swings and imbalances (especially but not limited to that time of the month) and also my skin layers are rather thin, so my pores can easily be blocked if too much heavy product is layered on top of it, even in an effort to bring more moisture into the more dehydrated lower layers of the face. This is lightweight and really full of super not only hydrating but skin healthful ingredients that I hope will not only keep serving me short term but keep up the luminosity and firmness as time and stress and age all tick on. So far, no breakouts,

   The drawbacks for me in this product are the price $48 USD (but you get 2 fl oz, which for a lot of designer or, in this case, more niche, brand skincare you get 1 oz o 1.3 or 1,7 oz of moisturizer for that price or often higher and still with a lot of ingredients (shea butter) that my skin does not agree with, which would also be pretty much guaranteed in any drugstore brand moisturizer), so that is not my biggest gripe all things considered, although it is the most expensive single product in my regime, My biggest complaint, however, is the non hygenic jar packaging. i wish it came in a pump. I think it would be actually thin enough due to its more water-binding than oil-laden formula to be filtered through a pump, so I’d like to see this be attempted. But overall, I think it could suit theoretically any and all skin types, if you are truly dry, this could work as a day cream with added SpF or on non outdoorsy days and then you put on something richer for night, but everyone else may find they only need this. Give it a try
