I didn’t think I would see any effect with this product but since my mom swore by it after using it for only a few weeks, I wanted to try it out myself. Experienced micro peeling the first night, then had smoother skin in just a few days. Biggest effect is the fading of my acne marks that stubbornly won’t go away!! Ugh. The most unexpected effect is the lightening of my undereye area which have the darkest circles (2 months after using). I am definitely SOLD on all these cream’s claims! Wish I could use the serum in tandem with this one as well.

I have al2ays wanted bright skin, being from a Mediterranean background I always envied the Europeans ,asians for their bright white skin,I thought I will never have such beautiful bright skin
thats until I discovered this cream
in use with their white pear infusion I
now can too have wonderful bright white clean skin.
I can’t believe I have spend so many $$$ on skin care that does not work.
** ladies,if you want beautiful bright clean skin **
this is the one, together with their white pearl infusion you will see your skin transform into something beautiful.
i know it’s pricey but it’s all worth it.

It is a white somewhat fluid moisturizer that is packaged in an airless jar that dispenses just the right amount.
The product is elegant and relatively quickly absorbing leaving an elegant finish. Nothing less is expected from La Prairie, especially at this price ($ 695)!
The formula contains some peptides and several well known tyrosinase-inhibitors that have documented pigment lightening effect and have been used in cosmetics for several years.
The active (Isobutylamido Thiazolyl Resorcinol referred to as “Lumidose”) that La Prairie markets the product with, might be as high as 0.3% according to the only patent document available from Beiersdorf (owner of LP). It is referred to that even at 0.1% concentration, the substance has achieved remarkable lightening effect on pigmented skin.
It is very clear that the formula is for pigmentation and only for that. (Although several of the actives are excellent anti-oxidants too.)
This product is definitely for those who are concerned about (and have) existing pigmentation. This is not part of a preventative regimen either!
I also believe that, if price is not an effective stopper and the results are as impressive as LP tries to make us believe, this is not a product one with healthy skin should be using due to the very same effect it claims to have, ie. inhibition of tyrosinase-activity.
