This is a very nice and light moisturizer that will leave noticeable moisture behind after application without any oily residue.
It is built on the technology having the capability to visibly hydrate the skin with lasting effect. Built on the very popular and widely used “quick-breaking water gel technology” that is exceptionally popular in Japan and Korea like the Urban Decay Hot Springs Hydrating Gel Rehab Makeup Prep moisturizer.
However, the one from PTR does not have the pronounced water breaking ability due to the use of several emollients that will prevent the so pronounced water-feeling of this moisturizer at application. This will also provide a more substantive residue (albeit still on the light side) left on the surface of the skin after application. This will make this product more suitable for a dryer skin in warmer climate or in colder months for a more oilier skin type. (I do not think it will provide enough moisture used alone though if your skin is extremely dry or suffer from eczema, even during the warmer and more humid months.)
It contains volatile and non-volatile silicones and silicone emulsifiers for a lighter feel and more “blurred” finish along with a minor amount of emulsifiers of natural origins and some excellent humectants. When it comes to the actives it contains an excellent blend of ceramides, fermented minerals and true hydration boosters (such as Yeast Extract (ProHyal+), Sodium Hyaluronate and Saccharide Isomerate).
This is an elegant product housed in a light blue jar with no particular fragrance, just plain “clean”.
There is no added fragrance or colourant.
I can highly recommend this product who is in need of a good hydration boost.

Not hydrating at all. The main selling point is that this product is hydrating and it’s not. It’s super thin and watered down like lotion. I still have extreme dry skin after. It’s good for primer under makeup because it’s not greasy. But its probably not greasy because its not moisturizing. For the price it should do what it claims, which is hydrate. The serum is the same as the lotion.

I am 34 years old and I’ve never experienced acne other than occasional single pimple time to time usually occurring during pms. I received this as a sample and used it for three nights I will never again use this product as I have over 25 big big pimples on my face right now being that I’ve never dealt with acne before and this is the only change in my routine I am certain this product is what caused it. Never again will use.

This is a very lightweight, “fluffy” gel-cream with good ingredients like hyaluronic acid and no added fragrance. It is a good luxury moisturizer/hydrator for people with oily skin who finds other moisturizers break them out and want to spend money. It is like Drunk Elephant’s B Hydra but more creamy, but both are more expensive hydrators for oily skins that are acne-prone. It comes in a jar, but I scoop out a month’s worth with a clean spatula and keep in a small airtight container in my bathroom to use daily, and store the rest in the original jar in the fridge. I do think that even if you’re oily and acne-prone, you might want to try the Cerave PM first, which is also a lightweight moisturizer with excellent skincare ingredients, can be used both AM & PM, and is a much better value. I honestly reach for the Cerave PM every day, while I do not do that with this PTR cream. I’ll use it up but won’t buy it again.
Pros:
lightweight
good ingredients
no fragrance
high end/luxury brand
good for oily and acne-prone skin
Cons:
expensive
jar packaging
better products at better value are available

Unless you have really oily skin do not spend money on this. It does absolutely nothing for my normal to dry skin. It clogged my pores & was pretty pointless. My skin felt awful. For a face moisturizer my Mario Badescu Seaweed Night Cream is sooooo much better, doesn’t irritate my skin & costs less.
If you have oily skin…it might be ok. But there are way better options out there for less money.

Basic unscented light moisturizer with silicones for slightly oily to slightly dry skin. Texture is a white fluffy lotion-cream that absorbs and dries down quickly, leaving skin with a little moisture, and a tacky-yet-dry uncomfortable feel, as if it has a coating and can’t “breathe”. Clogs my pores and causes breakouts. Doesn’t plump out fine lines, improve texture or glow. Makes skin look dull. Doesn’t pill under other makeup or creams. I’ve used mine for a month with no improvements. I actually found my skin performs better with no moisturiser than with this.
For reference my skin is normal sensitive but goes between slightly oily and slightly dry depending on the day and what I’m doing. On oilier days I prefer Caudalie Moisturizing Sorbet which provides longer lasting moisture without the uncomfortable tacky feel or pore clogging. Or even hydrating facial sprays or light serums or just the hydration from my current sunblock. On drier days I prefer a richer moisture like Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream, or adding a pump of facial oil to my Caudalie.
Overall I’d say the Cloud Cream is an overhyped expensive moisturizer with low-average results. I did have better results with their Hyaluronic Cloud Cleanser. Also expensive, unscented and basic but at least it did its job without clogging pores or making my skin feel uncomfortable.

I like it. I believe it’s for oily skin like mine. It hydrated and my skin feels like skin instead of products.(like it’s SUPPOSED TO) I don’t know how much it cost because I got it as a sample as a gift with purchase. Still a fan of PTR.

This is a light basic moisturizer. It sinks in but hydrates. I quite like it. But it is expensive. Currently I have other moisturizers that work as well but are cheaper, but if those failed me I’d be willing to purchase this.

I know all the buzz around hyaluronic acid and was hoping this cream would provide some much-needed moisture. My skin is always a little on the dry side, but also oily, so finding a good product that doesn’t make me look like a greaseball is hard. I will say, this cream didn’t make my skin overly greasy. But, it had very little noticeable effect. I didn’t notice any difference on the days when I wore this cream versus my other moisturizers. It was fine enough and didn’t make me break out or leave my skin even more dry. But it was just really underwhelming.

This was a bust for me. It feels really nice going on, like a really light water cream, and makes the skin feel really soft. It was decently hydrating too.
Its downfall was that it broke me out in huge cystic pimples after having clear skin almost 6 months. This was the only new thing I added to my routine so it definitely was this. Not trying it again and I will return the travel size asap.
