I’ve been using this Riche version for the last 3 years. I’m 39 and I’ve always had delicate, dry skin that is very sensitive to products. This is the only moisturizer that is rich enough for my skin to stay hydrated all day, while not breaking me out or causing blackheads or comedones. I’ve tried samples of other products to see if anything works better, but I generally have a hard time with fragrances, silicones, and small whitehead breakouts with nearly everyting!
It is thick, so I would only recommend it for people with very dry skin. ***You don’t need much*** about a pea size. I usually mix it with a few drops of water or mist my face with rose water prior to applying it. It will make it thinned out a bit and you need to use less. It looks ‘dewy’ for the first 30 min or so, but I like that. I don’t usually wear makeup on my skin, but if I do, I wait for this to sink in for 5 minutes before applying a bb creme.
It looks pricey, but a tube lasts me maybe 3 months with daily use since I add a few drops of water or rose water. So, $55/3months= $18 or 20 per month.

Got a sample of this at Sephora when buying Laneige product. I was also looking for a day cream, as my skin is very dry (during winter time).
Pros:
– Great, easy to use packaging
– Easy application, feels very light at first
– Light scent, almost none
– Moisturizes very, very well (all day/all night)
– Does not break me out, or clog pores
– Feels great under foundation, not too heavy
– Evens out some little fine lines in a week or two
– Paraben free
Cons:
– Little too sticky and waxy when applied
– Little irritation right after cream application
– Takes few hours to sink in
– Expensive (about US$55)
UPDATE: I really love this moisturizer, however I would use it only few times a week, and only during cold winter months as it may be too heavy. Also, as the product says, it’s meant for very dry skin.

First I didn’t like it, then I forced myself to like it, and now I don’t like it at all. The main problem with this moisturizer is it’s consistency. It’s a very rich moisturizer which does hydrate and soften my skin and my skin condition looks fine in general, but it is way too heavy and sticky, hard to apply and doesn’t seem to sink into the skin even after several hours. I even feel like it makes fine lines more visble around the eyes. I decided to use it only for night time, but even in the night the stickiness bothers me and I can feel it without touching the skin. I also notice that my skin becomes a little irritated after application and the smell is not my favorite. I have normal skin that is not “very dry” so it might work for some. It contains NO PARABENS which is a plus. As for the packaging it’s nice that it comes in a tube, but it’s not the best tube, feels like there’s alot of air in it. Wish it would be 50 ml instead of 40 ml like most moisturizers, I always feel like it’s a trick to make it seem cheaper than it really is because it is a bit pricey. It has no SPF and I consider it too heavy for summer. I can’t wear this under makeup, it turns too shiny. I will not repurchase this product.
I saw the good reviews on makeupalley for the “Vinosource Anti Wrinkle Nourishing Cream” (which is the one for “dry skin”, this one is the “riche” for very dry skin), but then I checked Paula Begoun’s review of the effectiveness of it’s ingredients and she was not very impressed, so I chose the “riche” that she gave a high score. What I find a bit problematic about Paula Bergoun is that she says that parabens are not harmful in any way so she totally ignores them, while in my country they have considered prohibiting parabens in skin care products and they advice pregnant women to avoid them if possible because they suspect that they can be harmful, so I wonder how Paula Begoun does her research.
Paula Bergoun’s review:
An excellent though pricey moisturizer for dry to very dry skin. It contains a good range of emollients along with antioxidants, plus some cell-communicating ingredients. Although this contains fragrance, it does not contain the potentially sensitizing fragrance components that are present in many other Caudalie moisturizers. In the end, this has a good range of ingredients to help skin look and act younger.
