I bought this cream at a discount, otherwise the price/value ratio wouldn’t be good for me.
The good: this cream/sorbet is visibly of high quality, it has a very moussey and light texture which sinks into the skin very fast. It provides a decent amount of moisture for my combination skin. The ingredients are very clean and safe, so it does indeed feel like a fresh sorbet for your skin. It smells like grape juice and it’s made with grape water, which I love.
The bad: for that price point, it’s nothing special. If your skin is on the drier side, I doubt you’ll get enough hydration. As a moisturizer, it’s just very basic: no vitamins, no active substances.
I would repurchase because it’s a luxurious and healthy option for a basic moisturizer, but only when it’s on sale.

Totally nothing special. Not all that moisturizing. I can find a light moisturizer easily, for much less money. I just don’t see anything about this that justifies the price tag. My skin is normal to dry, it didn’t make my skin greasy, but didn’t keep it as hydrated as I would like either. I only had the sample size; I would not purchase a full size.

Not impressed. Cute packaging, but that’s about it. If you squirted this on my hand while I had a blind fold on, I would probably think it was St. Ives. It left my face feeling greasy and my face is quite oily to begin with. I also had some small breakouts while using this. Overpriced product.

this review is for the one that comes in the matte pink bottle.
I got a travel-sized sample of this with their full-sized Vinoperfect Radiance Serum. This face cream would be something I’d reach for during summers since it’s lightweight, non-greasy, and still kept my skin moisturized. However, it doesn’t do much during the winters for my dry/dehydrated-normal skin or at night. It doesn’t really help seal the rest of my skincare products in. I’d opt for spending money on the Radiance Serum over the Sorbet. The serum had more hydrating benefits on my skin than the sorbet. Also, at $39/40ml, there are plenty of other moisturizing creams out there that are more effective at a fraction of that price.

A good product, but has a very high price tag in my opinion. I’m not sure that I’ve seen any dramatic difference from this product, but it is pleasant to use and feels good on the skin.

I liked this one more than I thought I would. The texture is unusual, like light whipped cottage cheese. There is fragrance inside, I liked it but unscented is better for sensitive skin. That said, it didn’t irritate my skin which is what I feared most. It doesn’t feel oily and leaves a primer-like sensation although it doesn’t contain silicone. Makeup goes on nicely on top. Pretty pink tube too.
On to the negative now I don’t think it’s something special. I use it in conjunction with hydrating lotion, booster and serum in the morning before sunscreen along with Decleor Neroli oil serum at night. For just some light-textured added moisture it’s good but I don’t think anyone would be satisfied with Sorbet alone as a sole moisturizer. Expensive for what it offers. I might repurchase sometime but it’s not a must-have.

I’m disappointed in this product.I bought a sample size, because wasn’t sure how it’s gonna be.It moisturizes a a little bit but I noticed that my $5 Simple moisturizer is better at mattifying and calming the skin. When I apply this Caudalie vinosource Sorbet, it makes my face more red, and I have redness anyway. I thought this would fight against the redness and greasiness, but no! The other way around. Not worth more than few dollars I say. The scent is good though, and it definitely doesn’t irritate my very sensitive skin in any way, which is positive. But that’s all.

If you have combination skin, but still feel quite dehydrated, this formula might be for you.
I have dry skin, but religiously use this moisturizer during hot/humid summer months. It seems to keep my dry patches at bay, without feeling heavy or greasy on the skin. This formula is packed with anti-oxidants and nourishing ingredients that make your skin cells work harder, so as a result you will also get a brighter, clearer complexion.
There is also a “Moisture Rescue” version for those with a dry skin, I love it just as much if not more. Great Caudalie moisturizers, you can read more about them, as well as many other must-haves from the brand here ( Hope it helps and inspires some of you to try great new skincare products!

Iʻm breaking out horribly on my chin and neck, and this moisturizer along with the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum are the only new additions to my skincare within the past month. On top of the breakouts, the products also make my skin oily in a way primer and powder canʻt completely counteract. My undereye makeup also looks more cakey since using these products. Lastly, I donʻt notice any real moisturizing/skin brightening effects.
The only other things that may have impacted my skincare is the fact that I traveled and didnʻt use my Foreo during that time. But, I donʻt believe those two factors would cause the number of breakouts Iʻve experienced.

I do like this moisturizer, but if you have very dry skin I seriously doubt this is going to do anything for you. It isn’t that moisturizing to me and I don’t have a problem with dry skin.
It’s really light and almost whipped feeling, the bottle is different now than the one on the page here. Mine is pink with a white lid. I feel like it’s way too expensive for what you get. It’s $39 for a little over an oz and I haven’t noticed any game changing results from it. It’s just a nice, lightly scented moisturizer.
I use it in combination with hyaluronic acid serum and it’s just ok. It definitely isn’t a night time moisturizer for me but during the day it’s acceptable. For that price it should be more than just acceptable and I should love it not like it, so I wont be repurchasing.
