I only tried it for 2 days so I cannot give a proper review but I cannot use this anymore as the scent is just nauseating. It kind of smells like gingerbread cookies which is a scent I like when it comes to edible things but when it comes to skincare products no. It feels like it does an ok job at moisturizing dry/ combination skin but the unbearable scent is a deal breaker for me and I’m not even that sensitive to smells.

I’m using this for a year now and i will keep using it 🙂 I’m really picky with my moisturizer because i have really dry skin but the ingredients look good and it has a good expert review on beautypedia.

it my HG cream and i truly can not live without it! i have tried various expensive creams for years as it is not easy to find something which works for my combination and sensitive skin. I work in the office a lot so my skin get really dry especially during the winter. My skin is very sensitive and breaks easily and my T zone is pretty oily. futhermore i have been using it after laser treatments, it seems to calm down my skin.
if you have oily or normal skin, caudalie’s moisture cream is wonderful but a bit less hydrating.
Pros
it is a very thick cream, yet it absorbs into my skin quickly and easily
does not make my skin shiny or oily
works well under makeup
it calms down my skin
it does not irritate my sensitve skin
it has very refresing smell(nothing stong)
it contains grape seed oil, shea butter and sodium hyaluronate.
it contains antioxidants.
it works well with hyaluronate serums like sos serum or the ordinary matrixyl+hyaluronate
cons
it is pretty small tube (40 ml) but its totally worth it!
i have been using it for 3 years now and even i try other products now and then , it is still my favourite.

Update: it is still my favourite cream and 3 of my friends with sensitive dry skins are using it. It is the 3rd winter i am using it during it. i have tired a few more expensive moisturisers but keep coming back to my favourite… it works even with my retinpl serums.
when i have very irritated skin i also use S.O.S Thirst Quenching serum… Caudalie makes fantastic creams…

I have quite dry skin and it gets even worse during the winter time. I have tried a lot of creams, but nothing worked. It just wouldn’t be enough to restore the moisture.
I have first tried a tester of this cream and instantly fell in love. Once I spotted a Caudalie store I didn’t hesitate to go in and purchase a full size. This cream works miracles on a dry skin! It feels comfortable and make-up applies beautifully over it.
I do find that if you have severely dry skin situation though, it might be a good idea to use an oil or serum with this cream; other than that can’t really complain about anything! Great product.

I have normal to oily skin but I exfoliate and do masks frequently so I need to replenish the moisture every night. Even so, I thought that this was a little to rich for my skin. It made it feel sticky and heavy. At $40 a pop, for 1.3oz…that’s a little pricey, considering that I could probably have spent $8 on an Olay moisturizer that does the same thing. I say this because I didn’t feel or see any change or improvement in my skin. I have no doubt that this product would work like a charm for people with dry skin, but it was just a little too thick for me and didn’t fully absorb into the skin at all.

I love this product under makeup, it creates a smooth base and feels so nice on.

I was advised to get this by an associate at sephora. I was using the serum and she told me it wasn’t moisturizing enough for my dry and sensitive skin. I bought this and loved it at first. The smell is good, it felt nourishing, and made my skin soft. However, after about two weeks I began getting a lot of acne. Big and painful cysts. I didn’t think much of it because I became pregnant and figured it was hormones. Once I stopped using this, however, they went away within a week and didn’t return. I took the cream back to sephora and the lady was astounded that someone recommended it to me. She said, “it’s one of the richest cream. It’s only good for people who over tan, are menopausal, or are raisins.” She was not surprised that I broke out from it and said it was likely the cream and not the hormones.
I don’t recommend this cream if you’re at all prone to breakouts. I would only use it if you’re unbelievably dry and even then not twice per day.

I have pretty dry skin which has been a problem since university. If I forget to exfoliate my foundation will sit on top of the rough dry patches on my face. But with this product my face actually looks dewy and healthy. I apply it after taking a shower… Just a pea sized amount but oh my goodness it makes a huge difference. It works so well for my slightly dry skin that I sometimes cannot use this product everyday or else my face looks too oily – which is totally new to me. But for you who have dry skin this is a must have.
Note – this was a little too instense for me during the summer time… I actually was oily all over my face for the first time ever

Made my dry acne-prone skin extremely soft and supple. It comes in a pretty small tube, the cream itself is rich, but not greasy, and my skin absorbs it pretty well. There is a smell to it, but it’s definitely not a perfume scent, I’d associate it with the grape seed oil (I’m also using 100% pure organic grape seed oil as a serum when my skin acts up, and the two as a pretty similar scent). Kudos to Caudalie for another winner product, they’ve definitely earned a life-long customer out of me.

I have dry eczema prone skin that is dry all year but much more tight and stressed in winter. This cream in conjunction with the sos serum provides fantastic relief for my dry winter stressed skin. The smell may be a bit overpowering for some but anything that can take my skin from dry, tight and itchy to total calm in one application can be forgiven being not quite perfect in every way! I’ve used both the intense moisture rescue for very dry cream and the cream for dry skin. Both are excellent but will just depend on the level of dryness and stress your skin are suffering. Highly recommended
