i got this on sale at Marshalls (either that or TJMaxx) in the green tea + lemon version. honestly, i find the scent very off-putting. it’s a very essential-oil-esque citrus fragrance which i don’t particularly care for, and i hope the next time i find this stuff i can find it in a different flavor lol. but i do really like the formula of it, it’s decently hydrating without being super occlusive, which i love. i have very sensitive acne-prone skin that tends to break out when i use heavy moisturizers, but i would classify this stuff as medium-hydrating – not lightweight, but also not super heavy.
all of that being said, this product seems to be water-based, which means i can’t use it as a morning moisturizer as my foundations are all silicone-based and it causes them to cake up on my skin. but it is very nice at night after using my acids, and especially nice when i’ve dried out patches of my skin with spot treatments. it rehydrates the areas within a couple of days without clogging any pores. i would definitely repurchase.
