This is the best thing I’ve found for healing parched skin. We had a drop in temperature last week, and my skin became painfully dry. A little bit of this instantly soothed it and left me comfortable for hours. It has a waxy but not sticky texture that creates a needed skin barrier, and I can apply under and over makeup and it won’t mess it up. I used it on my face for 3 days and it healed my skin nicely. I can’t tell you what a relief this was. It’s also wonderful for elbows, feet, cuticles, etc.
I put this into a couple of travel-size containers so I can have some in my purse and in my car at all times. It’s great for when you get a little dry around the cheeks or eyes. That said, I think of this as a treatment rather than an everyday moisturizer as it’s heavy. It has a slight herbal scent, which I like and it didn’t irritate me at all. This will be great to have on hand over the winter.
