I bought this on sale so perhaps I should’ve known better (that nobody is buying it for whatever reason…) but still: this is absolutely awful! The consistency is fine and unlike other reviewers I don’t mind the smell but the colour it becomes on my fair skin is so SO yellow that it’s unusable. Perhaps in the summer I can use it on my neck/arms but now, in winter, I can’t use it because the tint it “transforms” into is nothing like my skin colour! If you can, make sure to try a tester first…

I start using this product about 9 days ago and I could see the difference in my skin. I was skeptical at first due to the little reviews I found on the product but now that I brought it and using it I’m not disappointed at all.

am surprised by all these poor reviews – I really like this product and use it on the days when I don’t want to use my Stila tinted moisturizer or Chanel.

Back in the UK, I used Garnier’s Miracle Cream which, on a daily basis, fit the bill with it’s warm yellowish tint, moisturizing abilities and generous (for Glasgow’s climate, anyhow) sunscreen. It did what Origins’ VitaZing did at a fraction of the price. As a daytime product it was great and even served as a serviceable nighttime product, with a little powder added. Having moved back to Canada, I noticed what seemed to be the same product, only it was now called Garnier Ultra-Lift Transformer. It had the same red pixel-dotted tube, the same consistency, the same fresh tea-like smell. And the price had been seriously slashed! Hooray, thought I! I bought it and took it home.
Two days later, I broke out in a burning, stiff, bar-shaped rash on my right cheek, extending from the eye socket down to the bottom of my cheekbone. It looked as if I’d been in a fight, and the pain was horrific. I stopped the Garnier cream and, voila, it was gone. Mind you, it took four days of antihistamines, emollient cream and a mess of peeling, crepey nastiness. Apparently, others have experienced this with this product. The moral of the story is, friends, READ LABELS. The ingredients in the UK and the US/Canadian market version are NOT THE SAME. What a darn shame.

I initially got this as a sample in a Garnier shampoo gift set I recieved for Christmas and let me tell you, this stuff is amazing.
I have slight redness around my cheeks and nose. It’s nothing horrible and I’ve literally watched my redness disappear whenever I smooth this into my skin. It does have a strong sunscreen smell. The smell really doesn’t bother me. It’s nothing gag-worthy. There is a slight tint in it, but I guess the cream really wouldn’t work without it in there, would it?
I have used up almost the entire sample bottle in about 1 1/2 months and that’s wearing it nearly everyday. Now, here’s what I really like about it: it makes a fantastic primer. I’ve used it under my makeup and then put on my makeup without and it makes it last so much longer than without. That’s why I love it.
I did price this at Walmart for around $15 USD. I think my husband would kill me for buying it but we will see. Beauty doesn’t come cheap.

This product I am 50/50 about. I really actually like how it feels and absorbs quickly. The smell is pretty awful though. I tried to get past the smell. I don’t mind the tint to the lotion. I wash my hands after I place it on my face. It doesn’t seem to get on clothes or make a weird color to my face. It seems to just moisturize and leave an even complexion to my face. So bad smell, but overall good moisturizer.

I bought this product several weeks ago, tried it, and was not pleased with the orange tint on my skin and stuck it away in a drawer. A few days ago, having run low on my regular tinted moisturizer, I tried this again, and now I see that orange goes away after a few moments and leaves my skin looking like my skin, only better. Smoother, more even, neither dry nor oily. I am quite liking this product! It has sunscreen, so even better. I think the people who are objecting to the orange tone need to give it a little time. I’m a fan, now.

I detest this product… I am having very different results than everybody else. It doesn’t appear to even take on any color, but I’m tan, so maybe I just don’t see it. It fills in my pores and looks disgusting. And my makeup slides right off. It feels greasy. And the worst part is that my skin is having a horrible reaction to this. I’m breaking out, and I’m getting red patches of burning itchy skin on my face. I’ve only been using this for three days. I’m going to try to return it and get my $ back. If you have sensitive skin, which I do not, stay away from this product.

I am thankful I received Garnier Broad Spectrum SPF20 Sunscreen Ultra-Lift Transformer Anti-Age Skin Corrector — boy, that’s a mouthful of a name! — as a sample from the beauty counter lady at Walgreen’s and not as a full-size purchase. The cream, which applies from a tube, morphs from white to a flesh-tone shade and it does that quite impressively. Unfortunately, it’s super sheer and doesn’t cover anything. The main issue is that the fragrance is so strong it burns the eyes until it dries out (even if I don’t apply on the eye area my eyes still begin to smart). The cream leaves a somewhat heavy moisturizing texture on the skin’s surface but since I already have other products I want to wear, such as foundation and concealer, I don’t like the way this product changes the texture of whatever is applied on top. I would not repurchase this product mostly due to overpowering perfume, however. I am happier with an essentially fragrance free gel I’ve been using the past couple years by Vita-K Professional (Freeman Beauty) for “Deep Facial Lines”. The Vita-K Professional products, of which I’ve tried a few, play nice alongside any makeup, moisturizer or sunscreen without balling up or imparting a change in how other products feel or work. That’ my idea of a daytime wrinkle product — something that absorbs into the skin seamlessly without any funky residues or perfumes.
