My skin is extremely conscious products, I do not get breakouts normally but most skincare breaks me out. Discovering a moisturizer has been a nightmare, as the items that don’t damage me out usually aren’t moisturizing sufficient (EltaMD PM therapy, I’m checking out you.) For reference my skin isn’t * completely dry *, even more normal/combo however I most definitely need cream under my sunscreen in the early morning! Enter this product.
I ‘d claim it’s basically like Cerave PM (which damaged me out) or the EltaMD PM but even more moisturizing. It’s definitely unusual it’s advertised as a night lotion, as overall I would certainly still describe it as a light moisturizer. It takes place quite glossy as well as at first appears like way too much, yet after 20-30 minutes it resolves and also it’s just right. Overall I guess this is a pretty regular cream with a bit of a higher price tag, yet it helps my skin when virtually nothing else does. Oh as well as the product packaging is amazing, cover locks shut extremely safely! Advise this if you’re delicate to fragrance, fatty alcohols, and/or caprylic/capric triglycerides.

The item is excellent as it does not offer me inflammation. The only issue is the product packaging. The nozzle do not work well after some spray So I will certainly buy the traveling dimension not the full size spray.

I like the toleriane ultra so I chose to try this night time version as well as I have blended feelings … First, my skin is extremely dry so even though it is calming and gentle I still locate I need to layer another thing over the leading due to the fact that if I make use of just this I awaken to dry skin. Yet I perform with practically every little thing and need to layer moisturizers, I simply expect much more from this. Second, I find it slightly different in texture contrasted to the toleriane ultra, with glycerine being the 2nd ingredient it leaves the skin a little bit gaudy. Third, I truthfully locate the toleriane ultra to be a far better throughout moisturizer as it does wonders for my eye area also.
I can not claim if I will certainly buy this currently yet will remain to utilize it while when my skin is feeling really delicate as well as wonder if it would certainly be a much better spring-time selection for me when my skin reacts to pollens.

My skin is very sensitive to products, I don’t get breakouts naturally but most skincare breaks me out. Finding a moisturizer has been a nightmare, as the products that don’t break me out usually aren’t moisturizing enough (EltaMD PM therapy, I’m looking at you.) For reference my skin isn’t *dry*, more normal/combo but I definitely need moisturizer under my sunscreen in the morning! Enter this product.
I’d say it’s basically like Cerave PM (which broke me out) or the EltaMD PM but more moisturizing. It’s definitely weird it’s advertised as a night cream, as overall I’d still describe it as a light moisturizer. It goes on pretty shiny and initially seems like too much, but after 20-30 minutes it settles and it’s just right. Overall I guess this is a pretty normal moisturizer with a bit of a higher price tag, but it works for my skin when pretty much nothing else does. Oh and the packaging is amazing, lid locks closed very securely! Recommend this if you’re sensitive to fragrance, fatty alcohols, and/or caprylic/capric triglycerides.

The product is good as it does not give me irritation. The only problem is the packaging. The nozzle don’t work well after some spray. So I will buy the travel size not the full size spray

I love the toleriane ultra so I decided to try this night time version and I have mixed feelings… First, my skin is very dry so even though it is soothing and gentle I still find I need to layer something else over the top because if I use just this I wake up to dry skin. But I do with just about everything and need to layer moisturizers, I just expect more from this. Second, I find it slightly different in texture compared to the toleriane ultra, with glycerine being the second ingredient it leaves the skin a bit tacky. Third, I honestly find the toleriane ultra to be a better all around moisturizer as it does wonders for my eye area as well.
I can’t say if I will repurchase this at this time but will continue to use it during the times when my skin is feeling very sensitive and wonder if it would be a better spring-time choice for me when my skin reacts to pollens.

I’ve tried this version as well as the daytime version (LRP Toleriane Ultra Fluide). Imo, the two versions had very similar effects on my skin. No-frills moisturiser with no adverse reactions. The majority of the ingredients in here vs the fluide version are the same. The main differences I’ve noticed upon applying on the skin is this one is slightly sticker and tackier than the fluide version, which has a more gel-like emulsion texture that people will very oily skin might prefer. Although, I have oily skin right now and using this by itself works well because I find that it does absorb or dry down quickly; no other serums or essences applied after cleansing though. Just this. But I can imagine those with somewhat dry skin liking this over the fluide version. For those with severely dry or flakey skin, this isn’t gonna be enough. You might need to use a serum or essence beforehand, or a thicker cream on top.
In all honesty though, I was pretty underwhelmed by this moisturiser because again, I just found it to be too similar to the fluide version which I actually tried first. They cost the same too. Possibly the only thing I like about this more is the fact that it has niacinamide in it, which a lot of people love to use on their skin but personally for me just has no visible effects. I like it because it works and does what it’s supposed to do, but it’s a little too pricey for something that’s such a no-frills product.

I ve been using this product as an eye cream for the last 6 months. My skin area is sensitive and dry. I was using la prairie eye contour eye cream for more than 5 years and I couldn’t find any other cheaper eye cream to cover my needs. I tryied a sample of la roche posay toleriane ultra night as an eye cream and I was excited. It’s a really good eye moisturiser.

My skin is quite dry and sensitive. I enjoyed using this moisturizer because it didn’t aggravate my skin and the ingredients were solid, but I felt like I needed a thicker, occlusive moisturizer on top at night. It is closer in texture to Toleraine Ultra Fluide than to Toleraine Ultra, and I prefer a thick night cream. I ended up using this during the day and Toleraine Ultra at night. It plays well with make up and didn’t pill.

Big fan of this brand in general and this product is one of my favourites. I use this over Redermic R for that extra bit of moisture. This comes in a pump canister and is a creamy white solution similar in texture to thickened cream. It feels gorgeous on the skin and really seems to make a difference to the look and feel of my skin the following morning. I occasionally use this on its own, but mostly use it over retinol products as they can leave my skin a bit dry feeling. I think I paid about $40 Australian for this, but a little goes a long way. A pea sized amount is plenty for the entire face. This brand prides itself on having products for even the most sensitive skin and this feels really comfortable.

My skin is combination but has been drier recently due to the use of topicals. One use of this was enough to make my skin irritated, with red blotches and lots of tiny breakouts on my chin (which also looks red and feels sore). Shea butter can be a problem in high quantities but this also has high quantities of squalane… perhaps it’s the squalane or perhaps it’s the combination. All I know is that I never had such results from a moisturizer…. for a product meant for sensitive skin, it sure caused havoc (whereas many products which are not labelled for sensitive skin are absolutely fine)!
I thought I’d love this since it is fragrance free and has minimal ingredients but my skin hated it… It is going to be used up as a body lotion!

Ah, is this ever amazing. My skin went through a horrible phase of reacting to everything recently which was all my fault to be honest (used too potent AHA products and cleansing masks/scrubs) I hadn’t tried La Roche Posay products in years but a knowledgeable aesthetician handed me a couple of samples and I was sold. The difference was instantly visible as my redness calmed down almost in half an hour. With continued nightly use my dermal barrier has been restored completely in three weeks and all redness is gone. I’ll continue to use it because it makes my skin feel soothed and comfortable. I also like the thin cream-gel consistency, the lack of unnecessary ingredients and the fact that it sinks in without leaving residue behind. Got my 40ml bottle for about 20 euros which is very reasonable IMO. Pure love for this one!

I tried it for the first time last night. It’s not cheap as a drugstore $40. The bottle is tiny, and the amount is like a foundation 30 ml /1 oz. I do like that it feels very light and easily absorbed. Almost too fast actually before i could spread it around my face. I haven’t had any reaction to it. I will update. My skin is EASILY clogged and this is too early to tell.
Update 16/4/17
This is a lovely no fuss moisturizer, great for sensitive skin. Doesn’t clog my pores. Easily absorbed. I always put in under my makeup without issues, so it is great for daytime too. I don’t use it every night as my skin doesn’t need it. Listen to your skin. My facial cleanser is gentle and non drying though. My skin never feels tight after washing, so I can forgo the moisturizer at night.
