After using a few Maelove products I’ve decided to brand out and try more from the brand. The One Cream is a newer release from Maelove, although I had my eye one a few other products (sadly which were all out of stock). The One Cream has a lot going for it, affordable, easy to use, and that it works well with other products. The Maelove One Cream is designed to work well for all skin types from oily to dry. I find The One Cream to be hydrating, however for my super dry skin evening routine I still end up to applying another moisturizer over this.
The formula is pretty simple which is great for those with sensitive skin, except for the fact that The One Cream includes a decent amount of Witch Hazel Extract. Witch Hazel Extract can be beneficial for most people’s skin since it contains antioxidants. The ironic fact is that Witch Hazel Extract can also be irritating to some skin because of the tannins, Eugenol, and alcohol content it contains from the distilling process.
On the plus side, The One Cream works well under foundation and makeup, and it’s nice to see a dual use product. If you have normal or oily skin I can imagine this might be all you need in your morning routine. For me I like to use this over my all time favorite First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Hydrating Serum, and then under my daily SPF (lately I’ve been using the Farmacy Beauty Green Screen SPF). This is a close to perfect product aside from the packaging, which is simple, but not optimal. If you are interested, my more detailed video review can be seen here: U
