The ‘Green Tea Seed’ line are Korean brand Innisfrees most popular products and I got a few sachets of this as a GWP not so long ago. It has a typical ‘standard’ green tea perfume aroma, the kind you get in green tea scented candles and air fresheners. The surprise comes when you realize this is a clear gel consistency and far from a ‘cream’. I’m very much baffled by the reviews online which describe this as a cream moisturizer. Is it possible it’s been reformulated and I’ve been sent an older version? Who knows! Anyhows this gel consistency gives it a lightweight quality that doesn’t leave you oily, my skin was matte for hours after applying, however it is very silicone-heavy, I could literally feel the slip the way you would with a hair serum…which for hair serums is fine depending upon your hair type, but for your face however….nope! I know only too well how my skin reacts to silicones! Used up my sachet (without incident) and decided to give away the remaining ones. Brand and product name aside, everything on the sachet is in Korean so be aware you will need to look up the directions etc for yourself if you get one of these. There’s definitely better Korean skincare products out there imo.

I really like it. Nice and moisturizing and kinda greasy so it absorbs in good…some heavier prods just sit and take forever to absorb. I’d buy it again but there’s so much more Innisfree to try it may be a while…

It’s okay, but there are so many other better creams out there. It doesn’t especially hydrate the skin and I was surprised to find this contained PEG. Surprising because this company is all about “healthy” and “green” ingredients and everything. Would not repurchase.

I used this up and didn’t repurchase.
Overall it’s just an okay cream. Nothing special. I really disliked the white beads in this. I had to learn to rub my hands together to get rid of them first. Other wise they ended up all over my face and in my hair. No matter how much I massaged it into my face.
So once used up I didn’t buy another one

Guess I just don’t like Korean products.
Tried so many fancy series from different Korean brands, promise much but deliver little. This is the star series from innisfree, bought serum, cream and green tea cleansing foam. About 1/3 left. Honestly, hate everything.
Might have little immediate effect but next morning after a face wash, I think this series does a bad job moisturizing. It’s sticky, leave my skin feeling uncomfortable. And filled with artificial fragrances like most korean products.
Notice that salesgirls always try to persuad you to buy the entire series, major waste of money. Ask for samples first.

I love this ! I have acne skin prone and during i used my acne treatment, my skin was very dry. My sister gave my this product, i tried, and i so in love with this. It moisturized my skin without make my acnes breaking out. The texture of it is wonderful, it absorb into my skin super fast so it didn’t clog pores. The smell is good too, it just slightly smell like greentea. I love greentea so i love this product. I maybe will repurchased this again if i didn’t find something as good as this for my acne skin

Bought this by mistake when I was rushing to get the serum instead. However, I did not regret using it.
I use this as a night moisturiser, and wake up feeling really moisturised, so much so, my skin was glowing in the morning. The consistency is quite thick, so I do not use too much of it, more like a few dots around my face. Once applied, it feels a bit oily and waxy, but in a pleasant way. I kept using this despite having oily skin myself.
I love this and will probably buy it again. The only thing I dislike about it is the packaging. It comes in a pot, and to me, it doesn’t feel as hygienic.

I purchased this on a whim without knowing what to expect from this product. I have always been using moisturizers from Western brands such as Neutrogena etc etc. This is the first time i purchased this product from an Asian market.
I have extremely oily, blemish prone and sensitive skin. I live in extremely humid conditions about 94 degree Fahrenheit on an average day.
I like the slight green tea scent. Its actually one of my favourite series from Innisfree and their seed serum is the bomb.com. Its not strong, but lingers and yet does not irritate the skin.
Packaging was a minus. Comes in a jar. Not exactly hygienic and the added benefits that contain in the jar might have already “leaked” since packaging did not come in a tube or a pump.
After a week of using this product, my skin broke out badly. In huge cystic acne form….and i used to go to the dermatologist for my skin issues…so having such huge breakouts is like an “all over again” story for me. It took a lot more days for it to heal and go down. DO NOT recommend.
This is not the product for you if you have similar skin like mine. I find it its more towards hydration and intense moisturizing. As I mentioned, i only purchased this to try out without having high expectations. So i’m not **that** surprised that it didn’t work out for me. If you have normal – dry skin types, this could actually be a HG for you. Asian skin care products have never failed to disappoint me, so i actually might consider purchasing their gel based moisturizers instead.
Overall, a no from an oily skin girl. I would not repurchase. Hope it helps!

I bought it last year and used it 5 months.i love the green tea smell, so relax, the packaging is good as well. But the texture is heavy, takes long time to dry and it moisturizing my skin so slow, it’s just ok but for the winter, in the summer it turns my face to sticky and oily 🙁 for the price (~25$) and the affect that I won’t buy it again. My skin type is combination but a more oily at the T zone.
