Very refreshing is the best way to describe this product. I have very thin skin due to aging and need a light moisturiser through the day so if I am not wearing makeup this fills the bill. I also use it at night and in the AM under my heavier products. I love the green tea and it smells really good. I noticed a difference in just one use.

Received a cute square green sachet of this – enough for about 2 applications but I managed to squeeze 3 out of it by making sure I used a different night cream on my neck and throat. Immediately I could smell the lemon oil in here but very faintly and it quickly disappeared. The consistency had me slightly alarmed for a moment as it goes on quite emollient but soon vanishes into my skin leaving a adequately moisturized yet ever so slightly tacky finish. It is silicone-heavy and despite the whole ‘natural’ vibe this brand/product gives off, the ingredients list (which I found online, it’s not on the sachet) is not really all that natural as there are a fair amount of unpronounceable chemical ingredients in here too. The first ingredient in here is a fermented Korean Green Tea which is a great antioxidant and has numerous benefits for the skin. How much of that effect is negated by what else is in here I do not know. Puffy eyes, dark circles, even acne are all conditions that green tea has been touted to help with…and I’m a big proponent of that too! Every now and again I keep freshly brewed green tea bags, scoop out the leaves and mix them with honey to apply as a mask. I find it rejuvenates my skin a little, and makes it look better. I haven’t noticed the same effect with the cream but it’s good to know that a really good ingredient is in here, and unlike most products with good ingredients it isn’t sat near the bottom of the list – it’s at pole position!
As a night moisturizer (it can also be used during the day as I’ve noticed the update on their website states) I found it did the trick although to get a real feel of it I would probably need to invest in either a few more sachets or the full size product. Once I’ve managed to work my way through my pile of Korean skincare samples (I wish US and French brands were this generous with their samples!) then I’ll likely come back to this, and some of their other products as they have a very extensive ‘Green Tea’ range with just about every type of skincare product you can imagine. Their Green Tea Watery Lotion – with 85% Green tea extract (the highest percentage in their range) is definitely first on my list!

Saw alot of hype about using fresh green tea on skin and shortly after came across the cream whilst aimlessly browsing.
‘Watery cream’ accurate description of the product. A very light moisturiser which feels non existent on the skin yet quenches its thirst at the same time; taking only seconds of massaging for my skin to soak up with no sticky feeling. I don’t know whether I’d say it sinks in or sits on top of my face as in 20 minutes oily areas shine which means blotting papers, however, my skin feels deep down nourished.
I’m not completely disappointed by the oiliness as some redness in only a few days has dismissed. For example earlier I had a small, red and itchy patch appear on my face. I applied a little but of a ‘heavy hand’ amount of cream on it and its stopped itching and is less red. Some reviews claimed on other sites claim the cream reduces oiliness in the skin after a week or so of use, so there’s a chance that my skin will react in that way also eventually.
Since I’ve received the cream the weather near me hasn’t been as Winter as I’d like to test the cream in. So I can’t say whether my skin feels tight or dry again after going outside but I can say in the inside temp and Avg autumn weather my skin has felt moisturised all day.
Furthermore, I rated the price kind of low because upon searching Yes Style I stumbled across another Green Tea Watery Cream at around half price of this TonyMoly one.

Ok, so I never would have tried this on my own but I got a free sample when I placed an order through the TonyMoly website. I tend to avoid anything labelled “cream” because I have oily, acne-prone skin. However I am also in my 40s and it’s winter here in the northeastern US, so I do have to moisturize. I’ve been looking for a moisturizer that I could apply last over all of my skincare products before going to bed at night. Something that will lock everything in but NOT block pores. This is a tough balance to find in one product.
I only had enough product for 2 nights’ application, so this is a tentative review. I was disappointed not to find this as an existing product on MUA – I love checking reviews first – but thought I would add this in hopes that others would find it and add their opinions and experiences.
With that said, I liked this product and am definitely considering purchasing the full size. At $25 for 60 ml it’s a little steep but I’m willing to pay for something that works. I’m not sensitive to fragrance, but this really only had a faint, sweet herbal scent that faded quickly. The product is opaque white and thicker than I expected (which made me nervous). I cautiously applied a small amount to my face and neck. At first it did seem a bit heavier than I wanted but it soon sank in and didn’t feel greasy. The next morning, my skin was happy – moisturized and soothed but not broken out. Encouraged, I used up the rest of my free sample the very next night and again had no breakout.
I can’t really review the packaging as mine was a simple plastic sachet, but I’m not a fan of jars. The consistency seemed like it would have worked well enough in a pump, though.
