I just use this as a basic light day cream. The brightening effect didn’t really work for me,but I think it depends on your skin tone.
Unfortunately it does flake,so difficult to use under make up.
I prefer something a bit richer for the cold weather,I don’t feel this gives much protection.
S&G do better moisturisers like catch a wrinkle in time that suit dryer skin.

I did like this product, if I was wearing a lighter foundations such as bare minerals I put it directly on my skin, if I was wearing a thicker fluid foundation I mixed it in with the foundation before applying it. This gave me a nice Dewey glow. But after a few wears it did break me out So I stopped using it. It is also a bit oily after a while.

This is a nice product…
When I’m really tired at work, I put it on and instantly I feel a little refreshed and even a little more awake… It also makes my skin seem more radiant like it says..
Fragrance could be better but it’s not that bad…

I have mixed feelings about this, it certainly does what it says in the label but sadly for me that fresh, alive feel to my skin is tainted by how ludicrously red it makes my face. I could see if I was super tired or hungover how this could help but it isn’t the everyday use product I was hoping for with the price.

I love Soap&Glory and this product is no exception. It makes my skin look glowy yet very natural. Great when I feel tired and my skin is a bit dull. I usually use it alone, or mix it with my foundation. It can be used as a primer but you have a wait a bit before you put foundation on, otherwise it’ll get all flaky. Overall I love this product, great for a natural look, especially during the summer!

I cannot believe all the bad comments. I bought this product in the UK when my skin was dry and I was out partying a lot. It instantly made my skin illuminate and ‘wake up’. I ended up buying five tubes as we don’t have it in Australia. I let other girls I was travelling with try it as they wanted to know what I was using on my skin. They love it too and also bought many tubes.
I now use it as a primer – only
a teeny bit as I am probe to oily skin.
my skin has never looked so flawless without much sleep. One of the best ever illuminating moisturizers I have used.

I really wanted to love this product. I’m a huge fan of soap and glory and the product description sounded like something right up my ~alley. I’m always on the look out for stuff to make my dull-ass skin radiant and make me look like I got 10 hours sleep on a fluffy cloud when lets face it I probably stayed up all night reading wikipedia and drinking red bull. I was kinda hoping this product might be a good replacement for my beloved (but ridonkulously expensive) Clarins beauty flash balm, but… nope. I don’t even know what the heck this is. I generally love soap and glory skin care, their cleansers are great, face masks great, moisturisers great, serums great, everything is great but this is really not great which is such a shame because if it was good and actually useable it would probably be my favourite soap and glory product! It’s impossible to use because it just goes flakey the second it comes into contact with skin which I’m guessing is not the intended effect. Now I gave it a good go, I’m really not one to give up on products. I tried it alone at night as a moisturiser, I tried it under my makeup as a primer, I tried mixing it in with foundation, I tried using less product, I tried using more product, and… every single time within 10 seconds i’m just angrily trying to rub the little clumpy flakey crappy bits off my skin, before giving up and going into the bathroom and washing my face and starting again, 5 minutes later for work than I already was and wishing I hadn’t bothered trying to find a way to make it work. Cause it just doesn’t work. Unless there is some sort of magical method to using this that I am not aware of. If it had worked I’d think it was more than worth the price, but £10.50 (I think it cost £10.50 anyway) is a lot of money for something that sucks.

This is the first S & G product that I have ever been disappointed with. Normally I cannot get enough of this particular brand, but this one for me was definitely a let down. It claims to be a moisturiser containing apricot kernel oil, aloe vera and a face firming active ‘instant tight 2’. It says it will brighten and lift as well as being thoroughly moisturising, and you can either apply it as your moisturiser or mix it in with your foundation. For me, it did brighten my skin slightly, it wasn’t outstandingly obvious and for the big claims the packaging makes this certainly wasn’t the type of brightening I was expecting or wanted. What I didn’t like the most was when I applied it just as a moisturiser, or mixed with make up, it made my foundation really streaky and it wouldn’t just set, it looked very runny and patchy. It also seemed to clump up and come off my skin as like..little ‘bits’. Its really hard to describe LOL but it is not good at all. Definitely one of the worst S & G products out there in my opinion. Definitely wouldn’t buy again or recommend.
