Palmer’s Skin Success Fade Cream, in fact the entire Skin Success line is just that Skin Success. Very few product in the drugstore and very few brands are able to deliver sound, good quality and effective skin care at an affordable price. Palmer’s does just that. This is a review for the formulation of Skin Success Fade Cream for Oily Skin. There are three versions of the cream, one for all skin types, one for dry skins and one for Oily. This oily skin version leaves a beautiful matte finish, the texture may appear and feel somewhat thick but it definitely settles to a matte finish, light enough to wear under make-up. Also contains some sunscreen to protect from day time sun damage.
It contains the usual ingredients Palmer’s has rostered for their Skin Success line, that being Hydroquinone at the effective concentration of 2%, it also contains a generous amount of Retinol, Vitamin E, Vitamin C and Alpha Hydroxy Fruit Acids. All in a base of skin protecting mineral oil and lanolin, It contains a light fragrance but nothing too heavy. I’ve yet to come across such an a jam packed cream at such an affordable price, please be on the look at as there are versions with a 25% bonus. I recommend using this in conjunction with the Palmer’s Skin Success Complexion Soap and Complexion Toner for all skin types. Also available in the line is a Serum, Fade Milk for the Body, and Fade Gel. All highly recommended. Thank you Palmer’s for making something that actually does the job!
