I’ve repurchased skin drink a few times. It’s a lovely moisturizer – makes your skin feel baby soft. I have acne prone, sensitive very dry skin. I find that while this makes a good day time moisturizer under makeup, it just didn’t provide the amount of moisture my dry skin needs at night. I won’t be repurchasing but think this is the best moisturizer lush has to offer.

I have fairly normal skin when I’m at home, which is a high humidity part of the US. When I lived in Alaska my skin could not handle the dryness. Think cracked skin so bad my forehead bled.
I had my mother go to Lush and inquire about a heavy duty moisturizer. This was recommended and it was a skin saver! I didn’t care for the smell of it much, but my face returned to its usual normalcy in just a few days of using it.
However, once I got back home 8 months later, it was far too heavy to use in Florida, land of 110% humidity.
Overall, I I recommend it for dry skin in dry areas.

This face cream is incredible if your skin is super dry and for use as a night cream. HOWEVER… I would not personally recommend that you use it when your skin is NOT dry as it causes breakouts…. But smells good and works a real treat to banish dry skin. Definitely does what is says it does.

I got a sample of this the other day and I’m in love with it! I’ve been on the hunt for a good while for a product worth buying. I’ve tried REN calm moisturizer, which smells nice but i find it not hyratrating enough. I’ve tried Darphin, which I did really like but I had a suspicion it was breaking me out. I have cystic acne and it’s hard to find anything that helps, not contributes. I’m going to buy this when I have a chance. Also, shoutout to all LUSH products. I’ve been trying to clear my worst hormonal breakout I’ve had in years, it’s been terrible the last few months, spent ALOT of money and gotten tonnes of samples on so many products. It’s funny how when you go back to basics on all natural products your skin thanks you.

I’ve had it for a few days and I like it a lot so far, the smell isn’t horrible it’s natural I don’t personally like strong perfume smells especially in my facial moisturizer. I have a semi oily forehead and a dry to very dry nose chin area and it’s been working great with my combination skin. You can feel it on your skin after awhile it does soak in very nicely…. but I like the feeling my skin looks dewy.

It broke me out the whole month I used it. I have dry skin and use everyday argan oil on my skin, but this product has some ingredient that feels greasy and leaves you skin tacky. Do not recommend!

Skindrink is average at best and there are much better options for the price.
Pros
– skins into skin easily
– didn’t cause breakouts or irritations
– vegan, do not test on animals
Cons
– it didn’t moisturize my dry skin as well as I would like
– it is a brownish tan shade and left a tint behind. My face is fairly pale at N10. My body is a shade lighter. So, I really don’t need to use products that darken my facial skin. Overall, it was really weird. It also seemed to accentuate any redness.
Neutral
– the product comes in a black screw-top pot. I don’t mind this as it makes it easy to regulate how much product used and you can see how much is left. I do question how sanitary it is over time, but I didn’t have any issues.

I really like this product, I have dry patches on my cheeks, Skin drink remedies this and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated, and as someone that is peri menopausal, I am prone to feeling dry on my face. I dont agree with one of the previous commenters, that says it just sits on the skin, my skin did soak this up and I will buy it again.

This is a really nice moisturizer that doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin.
However – Use it in the evenings. I used it in the morning, left it to sink into my skin and then tried to apply makeup on top of it. Mega disaster – As it says on the product itself, it leaves a protective layer on the skin and I had forgotten about this, so my makeup would not settle on my skin and looked patchy and horrible. Lesson learned, experience passed on to anyone reading this!
I like the smell of this – It smells natural. Would rather have this smell than a perfume-bomb.
And it does make your skin feel hydrated and soft.

I’m sure this cream could be hydrating, IF you can get over how nauseating it smells. I couldn’t. It smells so disgusting that I couldn’t even keep it on my face for longer than 5 minutes. It also made my beauty blender smell when I applied foundation overtop, so the scent unfortunately transfers and lingers for a while. The packaging is fine considering I like other Lush face creams. The price is also decent, as it is one of the cheaper face creams Lush sells. But my god, I could not tolerate the scent whatsoever.
