I have combo to normal skin, that can be temperamental and sensitive, and can get dehydrated. I’m definitely more of a moisturizer & Serum person rather than oils on oils. So I’m no expert on oils. However, this is the oil that completely changed my skepticism. Before this oil, I had reserved argan oil for my hair.
What made this oil appealing was the price (Under $15) and the word “soothing”, with my sensitivity issues. From the second I applied this at night after exfoliating, I fell in love. My skin was truly soothed within minutes, and hydrated as well. So many soothing products only tend to soothe, with little-to-no moisture, but this oil delivers both. I wake up with clear, non-irritated, hydrated and glowing skin with this oil. And no breakouts or clogged pores! And, while it doesn’t look it in the hand, this oil is blue in the bottle!
The oil is light, and doesn’t have a very strong scent (if any), and glides on the skin easily. I use 3-4 drops, but I always bring products down the neck and chest, so if you concentrate it solely on the face, you may only need the directed 1-2 drops. Also, if you are super skeptical, this is a great oil to mix in a moisturizer, or, if you want a more glowly, lit-from-within look, mix 1 drop into your foundation.
I believe this oil and this brand is, at the very least, natural, if not organic. You can find the brand and product at Target, Amazon.com, health food stores, and thrivemarket.com.
If you are an oil skeptic, but want to try one with all the oil hype out there, I think this is the perfect place to start. Affordable, light, and just perfectly balanced for what I would think would be suitable for most/all skin types. Can’t recommend enough. Already have a backup.
A+
P.S. – I’ve heard this is a perfect dupe (including ingredients) for the super expensive and loved Herbivore oil that is also blue.

I’ve been using oils on my face for close to a decade so safe to say I’ve tried a few. I have sensitive skin and struggle to find a balance, between stripping my moisture barrier and clogged pores. I had previously use Marula oil from this brand, but it was too heavy for my taste. I like that this has soothing properties, I have issues with my skin looking flush to do irritation from allergies, reaction to actives and sometimes for no real reason. The product is housed in a heavy opaque glass bottle with lockable pump so a definite win for packaging. The oil is lighter and silkier than their Marula oil and smoothed on to my skin very well. It also absorbed easily after a minute or two. At just $10/bottle it would be difficult to find a better price on facial oil. Used to swear by Boots but the price doubled in a couple years time. The directions state to use one to two pumps, one seems good if your skin isn’t two dry, and two if you are very dry.
