This has helped immensely with KP on upper arms, bumps on my knees, and both back and chest acne. I’ve tried Amlactin, Vi derm, Neostrata and many other AHA lotions in the past but never a AHA/BHA combination. And what a combination it is…the very mild acne on my back and chest is much clearer (after a short-lived initial purge for a few days) and these horrible bumps on my upper knees that keep popping up and leaving scars are not appearing anymore, plus the marks left by previous ones are fading too. KP on arms has responded quite well – perhaps 50% but I understand it takes time so will persist.
No issues with the price whatsoever, I’ve paid 10 times this amount for body moisturizers that did ten times less than this has!

Winter’s hit me hard; Specifically shoulder, back and upper arm break outs, rough skin and bumps. After one week of using this nightly and my break outs are clearing up, skin is smoother, and touchable. I am beyond impressed. It’s gentle, and it works on my sensitive acne prone skin. Definitely a HG product and must buy.

I have keratosis pillaris, mild to moderate ichthyosis vulgaris, and bacne. This lotion isn’t a miracle worker but it’s good enough that I have already used up 2 bottles and have 4 backups, and will use it for the foreseeable future.
I have spent so many years and $$ trying to find something that helped that also did not break the bank. The Korean scrubby towels (not the green Italy ones) helped a lot with my KP (I’ve used it for a few years now) but did little to nothing for my IV. I had a bottle of Amlactin at some point but couldn’t stick to it long enough to see results because of the smell. I’ve also tried Gold Bond Radiance Renewal cream-oil, which was great at moisturizing and making my skin scales look a bit better, but just barely. My derm recommended this lotion and I’m so glad I bought it despite its (comparatively) high drugstore price.
Like I said, this lotion is not a miracle worker. The little scale-like texture on my legs has mostly gone but it still looks crepe-y. My KP continues to stick around my knees. However, my legs look normal enough that I am not self conscious or embarrassed about wearing shorts or a swimsuit. Also, I did not expect this at all, but it cleared up my long-lived bacne, although I have to use it every single day to keep it clear.
I finally have the freedom of not worrying about my skin daily. It’s not perfect, but I am no longer obsessing about how it looks. Maybe in a few years, I’ll look for something better, but for now, I’m perfectly content sticking with this. It’s nice to not constantly search for products to “fix” my skin.

I bought this lotion to see if it could reduce the KP on the sides of my lower legs for the summer, but I used it on the rest of my body, too – not only my legs (not the face, though). The bummer is that I ran out of the bottle in about 3 weeks, using a moderate amount all over my body a few times a week. My KP improved a bit, but I think I’d probably have to be using this lotion for a longer time to see more significant results.
What I really like is this luminous sheen I got on places that were already reasonably smooth, like my arms and thighs. I’ve used a Salux wash cloth for years, and more recently I use an Italy towel about once a month, but introducing the SA Lotion was what really made my skin glow. As another reviewer mentioned, a chemical exfoliant will exfoliate much more evenly than mechanical exfoliation, like scrubbing with rough towels like I’ve been doing. I imagine if I used the lotion for a longer period of time, the rougher parts of my skin would get the glow, too.
The lotion also has a nice feel to it. Nice and light for the summer, not sticky or greasy but still feels like it’s effectively moisturizing. I’m not sure if it would be strong enough for me in the winter.
At the end of the day, I can’t see paying this much money for a product that doesn’t even last me a month. I might repurchase it in the future if I want to look extra good for a special event or something, but only if I can’t find a cheaper lotion with SA that I can bring into my regimen and use on a regular basis without breaking the bank.

Love this stuff. My thighs are so smooth where I’ve been suffering from little bumps. I think it’s a bit pricey for the size of the bottle.

This product is awesome! I use it as a hand cream primarily, and it’s lightweight, has no smell, and works immediately. I also occasionally use it on my face and body.
The first time I used it on my face I was shocked because the visible pores near my nose looked like I had just applied the world’s best pore-minimizing primer (in thanks to the salicylic acid). And that happened immediately after application!
Overall, it’s a really great staple item for me. I have a hard time finding hand and body lotions that I really like, so I’m happy to have found this one.

This seemed like a very basic product at face value, but it one of the best moisturizers I’ve ever used. My skin stays moisturized all day without being greasy or shiny – just healthy looking. I work in a very dry environment and my skin had been very dry and yet still blemish prone. This lotion completely took care of both those problems. I think the salicylic acid is key to helping pores looks smaller and control blemishes. I instantly noticed a difference- my skin looked smoother, brighter and more hydrated.

This does what it says it will. I was getting those little bumps on the underside of my arms, so I decided to try this. For real, one night of application and I noticed an improvement the next day. It also works really well on my heels and toes (my toes get particularly dry for some reason…?). Anyway, I highly recommend this. It’s light and smooths out nicely without being greasy, and doesn’t really have a scent so it won’t clash with perfume or whatever,

This product has seriously changed my life. I have terribly dry skin with mild eczema on my face. I was also getting a bit of cystic acne, and nothing I did was making my skin any better. The first few times I used this it did make my face rather sticky, so I only used it at night. As my skin began to get used to it I no longer had the sticky feeling. The eczema on my face completely cleared up and I have had little to no acne since I’ve started to use this. This is now my go to daily moisturizer.

My normally combo skin went completely crazy on me. It’s still pretty oily in places but started to get so so so dry in others. so much so that my makeup started to separated around my chin and jawline. I think the combo of extreme stress, hormonal imbalances and lack of sleep is messing with my skin. I tried a bunch of moisturizers but nothing did the trick. I read the reviews and wanted to give this a try. I started at night and it is very moisturizing but like another user said, very very sticky feeling that won’t go away. I tried it under makeup and needless to say it was a disaster so I stuck to putting it on a night only. Every single time I woke up, I woke up to new whiteheads, something I rarely get. I thought maybe it was dairy intake or stress but it was very clear that I broke out after wearing this at night. My skin is a mess now and all I can think of is that it’s this lotion because that is the only change in my moisturizing routine. So sadly for me this was a no for my face. I will try on my chest and neck to see if it helps with some other issues I’ve been having (stupid stress!)
