I’m on a honeybee craze lately, and I try to find any skincare that either contains honey or royal jelly. So after research I came across Dr Organic day cream with Royal Jelly.
This little gem not only contains a fair amount of royal jelly but also honey and propolis. All that bee goodness works so well on my normal to dry skin. Royal jelly works anti aging and hydrating. Honey nourishes,soothes and is antibacterial. Propolis benefits the imunesystem of the skin. Not only these 3 key ingredients make this cream work wonders, the base isn’t water or glycerine but aloe very leaf juice, which is a big bonus.
The cream comes in a standard glass jar, not very luxurious, but that isn’t the look the brand is going for. It is lightly scented with natural fragrances of essential oils, not synthetic. Colour is white.
It is a dense cream, quite heavy, but a little goes a long way. It takes some time to sink in.
My skin feels nourished, soothed and plumped. That is what honey does, plumping up your skin. I find the results amazing. I use it as a night cream too, and my red patches disappear overnight, wrinkles are smoothed and my skin feels and looks so well-rested. I don’t need foundation anymore , just a light dusting of powder is enough.
The price is a joke, i paid 12 euro for it. The best bargain ever. I highly recommend this over more expensive pharmacy brands.
