When my skin goes through one of its ‘dry’ phases, I usually skip the lightweight moisturizers and go for something richer. This came in a small (0.4 oz) sample tube and seemed perfect to try out. It’s a gorgeous heavily rose-scented cream (if you like rose fragrances then you will love this!) and the fragrance is not synthetic in any way, it’s derived from Rose essential oils, namely Rosa damascena & Rosa centifolia. The texture isn’t oily or heavy, but still manages to pack in a punch when it comes to hydrating the skin. I wouldn’t dream of using this on my oily t-zone but for my cheeks and neck where I get the odd dry patch this works fine and doesn’t cause me breakouts.
Directions state to warm it up between your fingers before applying but that just seems wasteful and unnecessary to me, its texture isn’t a balm or something that it requires such measures. Feels more like a ploy to help the consumer go through the product faster and purchase their next tube quicker. At these prices I’m not sure I can afford to do that! That aside a nice product with some great ingredients.

I love constantly trying out new stuff – usually sample sizes via e-bay, also plenty courtesy of a friend who works at Sephora)
