   Admittedly beautiful packaging that’s a pleasure to use, but overpriced for what it is. You basically have Rosehip oil, 2 other carriers, Vitamin E to preserve and 2 essential oils – neither of which I feel should be in a daytime formula unless exceptionally diluted and truth is I have no idea how diluted these are!. Oh and of course you have some gold flakes for good measure. So with that in mind I use only on a night time. Results? It sure gives a radiance boost and hydrates too but not significantly better than any of the many other Rosehip oil based serums I’ve used – all about half the cost of this. It is hydrating without being greasy but I still have to use a night moisturizer as it doesn’t feel sufficient on its own. The gold flakes add a not-so-subtle sparkle to my face which I’m not overly keen on, and it feels a bit gimmicky. Will use up the rest of the bottle by applying on my arms, back and legs on a night out as that shimmer would look much better on the body under the right lighting, but not the face.

   Not a re-purchase for me.

   I have combo skin and absolutely love facial oils in my nightime skincare routine,i’ve been using them for years and they’ve helped balance my skin more,it used to be really oily.Recently i’ve been trying to update my oil game by introducing oild blends,i’ve only used single oils in the past (argan,rosehip,avocado),but honestly it gets repetitive and a bit boring as the skin gets used to it and you stop noticing major results.I’m not that into skincare to splurge in a luxury product like Sunday Riley blends yet,so i went with Farsali,as I’ve been a subscriber of Farah and got my nightime oil routine from her;as i don’t have an Instagram i’m not really aware of all the hype.

   The product is pretty good:a bright yellow oil with gold flakes suspended in it (quite fascinating to watch it really),it has a natural soft orange scent that doesn’t linger.I find my skin is soft and glowy when i wake up,it feels and looks plumped and hydrated.You have to shake the bottle well because the gold can rest in the bottom and,to be fair,i’m not sure of where do the flakes go once applied because i never found any on my face after,they also don’t irritate my skin when i rub the oil in.The oil gets absorbed quickly,but classify it as a dry oil more like a light one,still very moisturizing anyway. Also i don’t believe it’s overpriced as cold pressed quality oils are usually in the same price range,obviously the quality of the oil in the drugstore isn’t the same,still good,don’t get me wrong,but not the same.
   Packaging is classy with a white glass bottle and a dropper,no issues whatsoever.
   I love that you can buy a travel size at sephora,oils lasts for so long so you still have months of use without breaking the bank and the product remains fresh and effective.I once tried it on my hand from full sized tester at sephora and it had a disgusting fish smell,i guess it was bad from being open for too long,so I always advice to buy a mini size.

   Would buy it again,my skin loves it.

   I bought this product simply because it was pretty & luxe looking & I thought I would look cute in my make up kit (I just realize how bad that actually sounds) I didn’t have high or unrealistic expectations as it is simply a hydrating oil. There are no ingredients in this that will give you any dramatic results aside surface hydration. It is no different to any other facial oil. It does not contain retinol Rosehip seed oil does have negligible amounts of vitamin A which is why it’s great when paired with retinol. This is not a nesassary item it’s a very standard hydrating oil that’s been put in very pretty packaging and had gold flakes added (very pretty but serve no skincare purpose.) It’s very cute but you would get the same results from the Ordinary’s Rosehip oil. I would re purchase because I like the product but I’m aware that I’m buying it simply because it’s cute & I’m happy with that. I like that it’s multi functional I love to use it on my lips. Having filler I really like to keep them hydrated I also like to mix a little with a bit of sugar & Carmex lip balm for a nice lip scrub. It’s also great for thinning out foundation or cream products (works great with ABH cream contour palette. If you are looking for a oil that has more skincare go for Sunday Riley Luna sleeping Oil or if you want something to use like Farsali and don’t want to pay for unesassary extras get the Ordinary Rosehip oil.

   Extremely overpriced facial oil. For all it’s worth, it is a good product – it moisturises and primes face well. I wasn’t too keen on the ‘gold bits’ in the oil and the smell. I would repurchase if it wasn’t so expensive.

   Once you get over the large price tag you really start to see the actual product for what it is. It is very moisturizing and it only takes a small amount for your whole face so this should last me a while, which makes me feel a bit better about spending such a large chunk of coin on a beauty product. It also didn’t break out my sensitive, acne prone skin which is a plus as I was a bit nervous about that. It has a heavenly, citrus fruit smell that in my opinion is very refreshing and to die for. However, if you don’t like scents in your products then you may not like it yourself. It really does help my makeup to go on like butter afterwards.

   I love this! It’s a bit pricey but overall worth it because it can be used in so many ways! I mix it in with some of my drying foundations so that it won’t stick to my dry spots. I sometimes put it on my lips as a hydrating lip oil, but the taste (if I get some in my mouth) is bleh!

   A good product for dry, cold weather. All other serum, cream or moisturiser don’t work for my skin during winter. This is a great find, as I bought one just to try.

   I have combi skin type and this oil serum didn’t make my T-zone shine which I find amazing. Other oil based products would have me blotting away by mid-day. Kept my skin moisturised even after being out against strong breeze No breakout, no rash and kept my concealer and make up base stay an entire day. Be careful just to use a small drop or 2 for face and neck. It’s quite rich so go easy. Will last longer too 😉

   Now will have to see how this works in hotter, more humid summer months.

   I have been using this oil for a while. The product makes my skin feel moist and it last all day long. I wouldn’t recommend if you have oil skin. It smells great as well. I would like to say people are commenting on the retinol aspect in the product, I myself have not read that anywhere, but the rosehip oil active ingredient has retinol in it. Mayby that’s where the confusion is. Either way I highly reccomend this oil everyone should try it. I would start with the 10ml bottle, I payed $25 dollars and it’s been 4 weeks and still have some. It’s a good way to try it withought paying for the larger one.

   I like this oil. I use it as a moisturizer/primer. It makes my face look nice and luminous. It also gives me an airbrushed look so I like it. I’m not sure if I can justify the price so I don’t know if I’ll keep buying this. It was a gift. I do really like it though!!

    I can’t say enough good things about this product. It is in my holy grail of beauty products. It is worth every dollar spent it doesn’t make me feel greasy or oily and it actually has improved the texture and the feel of my skin. I use it alone as a moisturizer or blend it in with my foundation on days that I wear make up. I also use it around my eye area and it has helped with patches of dry skin that sometimes form near my eye. Rich, thick creams didn’t work as well as this oil did. I will never use a lotion type moisturizer again!
