I’ve been using a sample of this product in the mornings, after washing my face and before makeup. I have very oily skin, so I’m always a bit nervous with moisturizers, but this one was so great. Lightweight, absorbed really quickly, and didn’t seem to make my skin any oilier than it usually gets throughout the day. Will definitely consider buying a full-size, I liked it that much. Taking off one star because I see that it comes in a jar, and I prefer tube packaging.

Absolutely hated this moisturizer! The packaging is okay, sturdy and compact enough for traveling. However,it didn’t hydrate my skin. Not only did it not hydrate my skin,it ROLLED OFF my face! I tried waiting longer for it to dry rather than the usual 10mintues,tried sweeping it on,patting it on,waited for my toner to dry down and then put it on,put it on while my toner was still wet,NOTHING worked! I couldn’t wear makeup with this product.I am so disappointed because I really wanted this to work. After so many failed attempts I decided to wear it as a nighttime cream.I also don’t like the way it smells. This is not worth 65$,since it also didn’t help improve my skin texture, fine lines, and I saw no difference in my pore size. This was a total flop for me.But I know it works for some people so don’t be afraid to try it out.Maybe I just couldn’t figure out how to use it?In case anybody is wondering,I do exfoliate regularly haha

I really liked this moisturizer. Lightweight and absorbs fast and doesn’t make me greasy or dry. Not sure if it’s a placebo effect but I swear my skin looks more vibrant after using!!!

I love this stuff. Or reference, I’m combo skin and acne prone, I did accutane about 12 years ago. It’s a light to medium weight face cream. I have been using it at night, and every morning when I wake up my skin is clear, plump, moisturized, and a bit brighter. It’s got a bit of glycolic acid which I was worried would be too much with my retinol, but it hasn’t caused sensitivity at all. I don’t discern a scent. The cream is fast absorbing and light. The jar is a light weight plastic so nothing sexy about it but it works. I know a lot of people hate open jars. It doesn’t bother me too much. My sister started using this as a day cream and she really likes it. She has celiac disease so she needs gluten free products and she has adult acne and just finished accutane. This has been great for her. Now that it’s winter, I’m experimenting with it as a day moisturizer and so far I really like it.

Listen… I was a huge fan of Cetaphil moisturizer for many years. But that was years ago when their formula was different. Now, Cetaphil feels greasy and just sits on my face after I apply it. So I picked this up from Ulta. It’s amazing. It sinks into my skin immediately after I apply it, which is great because I can put my makeup on right after. It also makes my skin feel hydrated and soft. It also did not break me out, which is a huge problem for me because my face is already oily and sensitive to begin with. The fact that I have to dip my finger into the jar does bother me, but I haven’t suffered from any breakouts so I can’t complain.

This is my second jar with this moisturizer. I have sensitive combo skin and this one never gave me any reaction or pimples. It is lightweight moisturizer and absorbs really quick. My makeup looks great and my poors look smaller. Overall I like this moisturizer, I just wish it would come in a pump or tube.

This is a light daytime moisturizer that works amazing for oily skin. It’s hard finding a good anti aging cream if you have oily skin as they are too hydrating and geared towards women with dry skin. This works perfect for oily skin and you can layer serums under without being more greasy. It’s very brightening and makes your skin glow. I’ve never had a breakout from it and I’m acne prone. It has fragrance but nothing too crazy. I absolutely love.

I’ve gone through almost a whole jar of this, and it’s just kind of… meh. Not awful, but not great. First of all, though: why does it have to come in a jar!? Like, I get that the whole name is related to the packaging, but why not (Renewed) Hope in a bottle? Bottled hope? Jars are unhygienic and the formula isn’t stable when exposed to oxygen. So even if this little jar contains some good ingredients, it’ll become less and less effective each time you open it. Not a fan.
It goes on nicely, it feels almost gel-like and absorbs quickly. I appreciate that in a day cream, since I apply makeup almost right after moisturizer in the morning. It’s one of those products that claims to be for every skin type (dry, normal, oily, combination AND sensitive, more specifically), which is usually BS as different types of skin have different needs. I have combination skin with a slightly oily t-zone, normal elsewhere expect for the winter when I get surface dry. I’m also acne prone, and I didn’t notice this breaking me out or anything. It found it to provide pretty light moisture though, not quite enough for the winter months. I had to compensate with a lot of moisture in the evenings instead. I would say it’s probably best for oiler skin that just needs some light moisture.
Again, it’s not awful. It’s just not as great as I would expect from the price, the ballsy name nor the hype. I guess the US price of $39 isn’t a catch either, but it is compared to here in Sweden where it’s a whopping $58, and I can say for sure that it wasn’t worth that much money. Also, I stuffed up when researching the brand – it is in fact not cruelty free as I thought at the time that I bought it. That’s my bad, but it’s another reason why I wouldn’t want to repurchase it.
+ Non-greasy
+ Absorbs quickly
+ Didn’t break me out
– Brand tests on animals
– Jar packaging
– Overpriced
– Not very moisturizing and certainly not for all skin types, as it claims to be

My review will be short & to the point:
Received a small sample tube of this for free. Would never buy this because A). the scent is too strong. I don’t like it at all. Too perfumey. It would have gotten 3 lippies if not for the strong scent. & B). while this wasn’t a bad moisturizer, it was certainly nothing special. There are better, far less expensive moisturizers out there. I’ll stick with my Jason 5000 iu Vitamin E moisturizer (no scent, thank you very much!) that costs me $9.99 & moisturizes better than this (for me, YMMV).

I really like this product for my normal/combination skin. My pores in the t-zone have gotten larger with age, and this really makes them look better. It’s not quite moisturizing enough for my cheek areas, but works fine everywhere else. And I, too, wish it were in a tube.
