EDIT 8/27/15: Removed one lippie – this caused the worst break out I’ve had in YEARS. Weeks to recover my sad skin!
ORIGINAL: $12.99 at TJ Maxx. Sad to say this causes cystic break outs on my combo/oily Mediterranean skin. Smells really not good…like a very old lipstick. It’s a very heavy cream and definitely moisturizing. The texture and consistency remind me of Dermalogica Super Rich Repair, which also makes me break out. I’ve tried this for a week during 3 different months, just to give it a fair shot and make sure the acne wasn’t caused by something dietary or a hormonal change, and it caused cystic break outs every time. It’s in a large glass jar-not good for travel, and unsanitary. Actually I’m glad I don’t like it, as the smell is so unpleasant!
I love that Ole Henriksen doesn’t test on animals. This cream might be fine for others, it just didn’t work with my skin!

I love Pure Perfection. I have normal/dry skin, no acne. I use it as a night cream, and when I wake up my skin looks radiant! I have used it as a day cream a couple of, but prefer to wear it as a night cream, since the consistence is very thick and it is a little bit greasy.
It smells awful, but it is worth it though!

I really like this stuff. I started using it in late February. By spring my skin texture and tone had improved to the extent I started getting compliments on my skin. I think, however , that it is too heavy for me in the summer. My skin tends to get a little oily in the warm weather. I’m running low now and will purchase again in about 6 to 8 weeks when the weather cools down.

I got enough sample of this from Sephora to use it every night for about two weeks, and my skin has never, ever been better. It’s definitely a night cream, as after a few hours my skin is a little ‘oilier,’ as another reviewer noted. But when I wake up in the morning, my skin is soft and smooth and totally amazing. Before I started using this cream, I had just finished chemotherapy, and my skin was a complete mess. Now it’s smooth, even, and a few fine lines around my eyes that I had always figured were going to stick around actually tightened up significantly (though I have also been using caudelie serum a few nights per week, so some of the eye tightening may be from that). Now that my skin is in better condition, I may scale back and only use it every other night, as yesterday I did notice a small amount of redness in my cheeks a few minutes after I put it on. I love this stuff, and I’m definitely going to buy a jar when my samples run out.

My sensitive skin was doing well with a glycolic toner, so I thought using this as a night treatment would help. I was using it on nights I was not using the toner. But alas, my skin did not agree. The lactic acid was the culprit, and I broke out in a mess! It has taken almost a week, and I am still fighting cystic zits. This is a definite no buy for me.

This moisturizer does help keep my blackheads away for slightly longer and my skintone slightly brighter (but not enough to even out acne scars). I didn’t find its moisturizing qualities to be all that great despite being formulated for people with dry skin. I’m prone to redness in the mornings if I don’t moisturize properly at night and with this cream, sometimes I wake up with normal looking skin but sometimes I wake up with some redness. I couldn’t use this around my eyes; I have very dry skin around my eyes and applying this under my eye cream interferes the hydration I need from my eye cream. It still hasn’t done anything to my fine laugh lines yet. After two weeks usage, it started making my skin slightly sensitive and made me break out a little. As for the fragrance, it doesn’t smell that pleasant upon application but it doesn’t bug me as it disappears after a couple of minutes.

This product is phenomenal. I’ve now used it 4 nights in a row, and my skin is smooth, even, tight. The beginnings of my crow’s feet have pretty well disappeared! My skin does tingle a bit, moreso on blemishes. Tastes awful, do no lick your face. The price, holy moly $60 at Sephora in Canada… But will be worth every penny. I expect it to last quite a while as you do not need a lot of this product.
A full size jar is in my near future…
ETA: I am now receiving compliments on my skin! I am glowing 🙂

I got this as a sample and I applied it at night after cleansing. It did sting a little but thats probably because I exfoliated prior to applying. Anyways, I woke up in the morning and WOW my face was glowing and radiant. I ended up buying the full size jar, its a great moisturizer.

This cream is great. I To me, Ole Henriksen products is a jungle, some of his products are just horrible on my skin, but this is a very good night cream on my dry/combination skin!
I bought it to use as a night cream for a winter in Montreal and it performed very well. My skin was hydrated and clear when I woke up in the morning. The smell is citrus-like with a strong tone of the glycolic acid and it tastes awful, though. But I guess im not supposed to eat it.
If it wasnt for the price I would definetely repurchase, but at this price it would have to be at a good deal. But I recommend it for winter use in colder climates.

I have been looking for a glycolic night cream that will not make my face peel or turn red like retin-A did. This cream works its magic without making me red, flaky, upset 🙂 A little pricey, but this is a product worth splurging for. fyi, I have sensitive, dry/combination skin.
