This is it for my skin. After years of trying out tons of different products and hoping I would find the perfect skin cleansing and hydrating routine I finally can stop looking for it. I use this product after using the cleansing gel of the Purefect Skin line and the lotion. I use this twice a day: after my morning shower and before I go to bed. I’m in love with the fresh smell, the soft and cooling texture of the gel, the non-sticky feeling, the fact that it’s really hydrating and that it doesn’t break me out, … I can go on with writing down positive things about this range. I will definitely buy it again and again and again… Untill my skin changes because of pregnancy or something.

I may have found my HG moisturizer, especially for summer, for my combo-to-oily skin! This lightweight gel moisturizer has a fresh scent and it absorbs quickly into my skin. I must admit I’ve noticed a real difference in how oily my skin becomes in the day…..which is much less! I find myself blotting less, or almost never if I use MUFE’s HD loose powder over my makeup as well. I like the bottle and the fact it has a little cap to put over the pump to prevent spills if you travel with it.
One thing, however, is this may be my HG summer moisturizer, but I think in winter, when my skin tends to become drier, this will not be hydrating enough, so I will likely switch it out when Fall arrives.
I’d buy this again.

Once again, another high-end product bought due to the recommendations of others. And once again, I’m displeased. It seems as if everyone on youtube & in the blogosphere loves this stuff, but for me it just didn’t work! The product claims to be a hydrating gel with anti-shine & anti-blemish properties. Personally, I wanted it for the anti-shine aspect, as I have oily skin & need my makeup to last for as long as possible. However, this product did not live up to its claims.
The packaging is gorgeous (especially the box) & I love that it has a little plastic case over the lid because it means you can travel with this product without having to worry. The scent is also beautiful & fresh (if this were a perfume I’d definitely buy it) & I really like the texture of the moisturiser. It feels like a cross between a thin, watery moisturiser & a silicone primer. I also love the way it makes my skin feel so silky.
However, this is where the positives end. Despite the claims of the box (and of other people), this product makes my skin oily! Seriously, within a few hours i’m a total grease ball! It feels so gross… Additionally, this product is not hydrating enough. The product states that it is a ‘hydrating gel’, but to me it’s just like putting a primer straight onto your face. It gives pretty much no moisture. And it is for that reason that I think my skin is producing so much oil – because it lacks moisture! I’ve also found that this product makes fine lines look like deep ones..
Furthermore, I don’t know that this product broke me out, but I do know that in the week I was using this product, my skin was breaking out, getting more & more pimples every day. However, when I switched back to my old daytime moisturiser, I woke up the next day with an entirely clear face! So I can’t say for sure that this product broke my skin out, but I do think it’s highly likely given the evidence, as well as the fact that fragrance has been known to break my skin out before. What I can say is that the “anti-impurity” side of this product obviously doesn’t work.
So once again I find that drugstore prevails over high end…. My $8 neutrogena moisturiser is infinitely better than this. I’m just going to have to give this away to someone, because I will not be putting this on my face again. To conclude, this product is aimed towards oily-skinned blemish-prone people. However, I am of this exact skin type & this product does not work for me. I’d recommend this product for those of you with non-sensitive normal to combination skin.
