I have a sensitive combination skin which is currently more on a dryer side as I just finished a course ( only 2 month) of Roaccutane. On this moisturizer since 1 week and I absolutely love it. Super hydrating , calming and zero eye tearing ( which is usually the case for me). It does leave a bit of a film on the skin but nothing a powder can‘t fix. Definitely recomend this product to the sensitive dryer skin and during or after Roaccutane treatment.
Most eye creams give me puffy red eyes but Primrose facial hydrater is a great alternative for me till I find a suitable dedicated eye product. If you like earthy smells this product is for you!

I really liked the “plumpness’ and glow that i get from this moisturiser. It also smells lovely. Seeing as I have really dry patches, I am not sure whether it would be moisurising enough for winter months, but for now it does a great job

I had high hopes for this product after reading the reviews but I ultimately was not impressed with this moisturizer. I find it somewhat heavy and didn’t really do a great job moisturizing my skin. I’m usually a fan of the scent of Aesop product and this one also fails in that regard. I find it way too earthy in a not so sophisticated way. The price is also steep for a so-so product.

I bought this moisturizer at Holt Renfrew a month ago for $53 for 2 ounces of product. The saleslady recommended it for me since I have dry skin. I was initially interested in the brand because they have a more natural approach to skin care (not sure if 100% natural) and when it comes to putting stuff on your skin, natural is ALWAYS better. I am not the biggest fan in this cream and unfortunately I am starting to lose faith in natural face moisturizers because it seems to be the one product where I just can’t find something that I like. When I apply this moisturizer it first, it feels really nice, hydrating but not at all greasy and the earthy smell of it is HEAVENLY. After a few minutes though, it seems to almost tighten and feel very mask like on my face. This moisturizer doesn’t do it quite as intensely as other natural moisturizers I have tried but I absolutely detest the feeling. Not sure if I should give up the search here or keep going….

I love this moisturizer. It absorbs into my skin beautifully and leaves it feeling and looking hydrated without looking shiny or greasy. I cannot recommend this product more

Trying it now – lets see

I love this cream. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks and have already seen a significant difference in my skin. I feel as if I have more radiant skin now. I have dry skin, so this is lovely to put on. It is expensive for a jar of this (AUD$61 for 120ml) but I definitely think it’s worth the price. Only downside would be the smell, as everyone here has already mentioned it’s that very ‘natural’ fragrance (something I’m not a fan of). I will be repurchasing when I’m out, which I suspect won’t be for a while.

This product is a good facial moisturizer. I’ve started using it exclusively for day wear as it leaves my skin soft. I find that there’s a faint sheen after using it but nothing that can’t be fixed with a bit of makeup.

I was worried this cream might be too heavy for my skin, but I have noticed a real improvement in my skin clarity and softness since I started using it. Lovely fragrance too, I would definitely consider repurchasing this. Only thing I don’t like is the jar, as I worry a bit about contamination.

I was introduced to Aesop in Australia in 1998. Was delighted to find it available in the US. I absolutely love the lavender scent and richness of the cream. My skin is very dry and seems to drink it right in.
I also love the Resurrection Hand Balm. I hope these products are never ever changed or discontinued.
