This is THE perfect luxurious, elegant cream. So lovely and pleasant to use. I use this before bed. My skin feels so soft and comfortable all night long and it does not look either puffed up or wrung out in the mornings! It’s just smooth and healthy-looking. I thought the lavender scent would drive me nuts, but it’s actually a very soft, flowery, non-soapy lavender. It does not smell like bitter aftershave, or over-humidified yoga studios, and I can’t smell it after the cream is applied to my face. I’ve actually become attached to the scent, because it’s relaxing and clean, and it’s a perfect prep for sleep. I feel this cream absorbs into my skin faster than the Priming Moisturizer, which I use, when needed, under my Invisible Shield, in the day time. My skin has always responded well to topical ceramides, so I really notice the plumping effect Moisturizer Rich has on fine lines, especially around my eyes. When paired with Bubblewrap, the plumping is even more noticeable!

I didn’t realize I loved this cream so much until I was running out, I’ve really come to depend on it. It doesn’t linger on the skin but it’s texture is perfect for a night cream, you don’t feel greasy after but it is very moisturizing. A great staple for a night routine.

Whoever did the marketing and photography for this product needs an award, stat.
I’ve been coveting this product since November last year and finally decided to take the plunge and order the dang thing already. Out of the 3 things I ordered, this is the only product I don’t regret splurging on. (The other two were Boy Brow and Haloscope, which were both extremely underwhelming.)
I love rubbing this stuff on my face. It’s exactly what I’ve been looking for: a luxuriously dense cream that smells like the fantasy of being a spoiled rich girl from the UES. Every other face cream that’s supposedly super-charged with technology from 3058 and extract of ancient fossil critters smell like dying grass. I hate it so much. The fragrance of sweet lavender from this cream lingers in the air after applying, so I usually don’t follow up with perfume. Not only that, but it makes my skin SMOOTH, like “Did you change your skincare routine?” smooth. And don’t forget soft – I’ll touch my face throughout the day for how soft it is.
You know how J Lo supposedly rubs expensive La Mer cream all over her body every night? I’d rather slather tubs of this on.
Even though Glossier’s makeup is pretty meh, I’m going to venture towards their skincare line.
EDIT: As expected with its thickness, this cream gives me bumps and blackheads on my forehead. I had to take off a lippy because it’s sincerely clogging my pores. Their ingredients label lists dimethicone (a sillcone) and several types of alcohols, which means I don’t suggest leaving this on your skin. I had been using this just as a daily moisturizer and it’s generally made the quality of my skin, over time, worse.

Love, Love, Love this moisturizer! I tried the original priming moisturizer and it is nice, but not great. I like the original for summer months when my skin is more normal than dry. This is perfect for colder/winter months. It absorbs beautifully and makes my skin soft and hydrated. It smell strongly on lavender, which I love. The fragrance doesn’t linger, though. If you are looking for a good moisturizer for your winter dry skin, give this one a try. You won’t be sorry!

I love this moisturizer! I bought it hesitantly because it looked like it could be too much for my skin which is firmly between dry and oily (not quite normal- it goes between dry patches and small hormonal breakouts) and yet it’s brilliant. A pea-sized amount is all I need to smooth over my skin and leave it perfectly moisturized, primed and ready for anything else I want to layer. It leaves my skin extremely soft which I love. There is a strong whiff of lavender with this cream so if you’re fragrance-sensitive be aware, but for the rest of you that might hesitate thinking this is too heavy, I’ve only had excellent experiences with this and will repurchase when I finish my jar.

I wonder why this only has 2 reviews?? I love this moisturizer. I’ve been using it for a week day and night, and it has made a big difference in my skin — my moisture barrier is repaired, my redness is gone, my skin is baby soft. I have oily, acne-prone skin and this does not break me out or clog my pores, yet my skin just feels nourished. I used to use CeraVe PM, but it just hasn’t felt like enough lately. During the day I use this alone, but at night I put a thin layer of Aquaphor overtop and I wake up with hydrated, soft, healthy skin.
This is the first Glossier skin care product I have ever tried and I am very impressed as previously I was very skeptical about the brand. My skin looks the healthiest it has in years. According to Glossier’s website, this contains red algae complex, ceramides, kukui oil, an anti-redness complex/oxygenating agent, hyaluronic acid, murumuru and shea butters, and lavender oil. The scent is heavenly, like lavender honey ice cream. When I apply it, and a little goes a long way, it sinks in quickly. My skin is not particularly oily or greasy throughout the day, just deeply hydrated and, once again, SOFT.
Overall, the cream claims to immediately reduce redness and soothe skin, improve texture (the appearance of pores), as well as to reinforce the skin barrier and lock in moisture over time. Here’s my breakdown of these claims:
Reduce redness: Yes, it does soothe my skin once applied.
Improve texture: Yes, I do find my pores are less visible, but not dramatically so. I would not buy this for that purpose alone. My skin does take on a smoother, more radiant appearance though.
Reinforce the skin barrier: Yes. My skin has healed a lot from a damaged barrier in the week I have used this day and night.
Lock in moisture over time: Maybe. I haven’t used this long enough to tell, but my skin does feel more hydrated overall.
Yes, I would repurchase because this is the best moisturizer I have used in a LOOONG time. If your skin — no matter its type — needs extra love, give this cream a try. It’s $35 for 1.7 ounces, which is actually quite affordable for such a nice cream. It works for my college student budget so it could probably work for anyone’s.

This product was exactly what I expected, a richer and more hydrating version of the Glossier priming moisturizer, a product that I love. I just finished my first jar of this stuff. I was using it as a night cream, but can totally imagine using it as a primer if it was very cold and my skin was very dry. I love the texture and the lack of fragrance. Glossier is really good about keeping fragrance out of their skincare, which is smart because layering multiple products with fragrance is never a good idea. This product has never broken me out and the hyaluronic acid has the desired plumping effect. I probably won’t repurchase, because I like something a little more intense for nighttime and the regular priming moisturizer is fine for daytime in Texas. I also wish I got a little more product for the price.
