This is a nice lightweight, creamy moisturizer. I liked it, but I didn’t like it more than my all time fave Josie Maran whipped argan face butter. This is a good moisturizer and I would consider purchasing if Paula’s Choice had a sale. Otherwise, I prefer the Josie Maran or the new Milk Makeup one. Those are worth the extra few dollars plus I can get them at Sephora However, I do like the pump packaging.

I’m liking this moisturizer way better than the serum mainly because it smells neutral like cardboard and not like linseed oil. It’s been working for my super sensitive rosacea skin that leans combo. This is good for sealing in all of my rosacea serums so I use it last. Has settled the flaking on my face from retin-a. Comes in a pump and is priced up there. Prices are the same as Clinique now. Have to wait for a sale before buying but fortunately sales happen frequently.

This moisturiser is gorgeous! The texture is unlike any other moisturiser I’ve ever tried – it’s fluffy and whipped and soft…a cream; but lighter! It absorbs really well into the skin and feels nice and calming on application. I love it under makeup as it absorbs well, takes care of any dry patches and doesn’t make me look greasy later in the day like other moisturizers can. I have combo skin and it hasn’t clogged my pores, or caused any irritation whatsoever! When I use it at night, my skin looks plump and bright the next morning but never greasy. This is so far, touch wood, my favourite moisturizer from PC ever! Note: It’s probably not moisturising enough if you have dry skin, even though it is marketed to dry and normal skin and I need to use it longer to notice long-term results…but a week in….loving it! Will update soon 🙂

I guess I have the skin type this product is targeted to as I really like it. My skin is normal to dry and I find it really plumps up the skin and at the same time leaving it non-greasy. The texture is on the thicker side as opposed to a gel cream. I do apply over other hydrating serums. I haven’t been using it exclusively as I’m using up other products, such as the Drunk Elephant Protini Peptide Cream which I also really like. I’ve been a fan of Paula’s Choice products for at least 20 years and although the prices have gotten up there in recent years, I still use certain of their products which I trust for the quality of the ingredients and I think still represent value for money in some cases. I believe this is an example of a well-formulated moisturizer and I like the pump dispenser.

My skin type is combo(can be dehydrated depending on the season)/acne-prone/sensitive skin. I don’t deal with severe acne, it’s mild and occasional. I was looking forward to trying out this moisturizer because of the ingredients, like ceramides and omega fatty acids. The texture is similar to shea butter (it contains shea butter so no wonder) but smoother a bit like butter. You have to spread it out quickly a bit since it dries out fast on the skin. Spreadability is not that good so it can make the skin irritated as you try to spread it around. I think some people wouldn’t enjoy it that much for that reason. As for my result, after trying it for 2 weeks and stopping for a few weeks and trying it again for another week, I can tell that this product was not for me. First it made my skin drier/parched/tighter. It doesn’t add moisture at all and wasn’t making my skin feel comfortable if I could say. I also used it in combination of my usual moisturizer (thick cream) at night, but it still felt tight/parched. The other problem I had, since I have very sensitive skin, is that it made my face “flush”, like redder than usual. It seems like some ingredients made my skin react that way, maybe the oils. Also after 2 weeks of uses and trying it out again for one week, I can confirm that this product made me breakout with small whiteheads/small inflamed bumps. It was minimal and on random parts of my face, but noticeable as I continued using this moisturizer. I didn’t notice any changes to my skin when I used it, maybe if used longer you would be able to notice something. I wouldn’t repurchase as my skin cannot tolerate it.

This product is a light, fluffy, whipped version of the popular Omega+ Complex Serum by Paula’s Choice. I’ve used both products, and the difference is the moisturizer is slightly more hydrating. My skin is very dry and dehydrated, so the moisturizer is not enough for me; hence the three lippies rating and would not repurchase. I don’t want to have to use more than one moisturizer, which I have to do when I use the Omega+ Complex Moisturizer; however, I think those with normal or slightly dry skin will like this product. Just as with the serum, I did notice a plumping to the skin from the inclusion of the omega fatty acids that I don’t see when I use my typical moisturizer (PC’s Skin Recovery Moisturizer). If you’re looking for skin plumping, I highly recommend this product or the serum. Just know if you have dry skin, be aware this moisturizer won’t be enough alone.
