I’ve never heard of the Clean and Clear brand before, and so I wanted to give it a go.
Just to let you guys know I have a T-Zone combination skin and I only can talk about my experience which I had with this product.
This sounds like the perfect moisturiser for myself as I struggle with breakouts. Sometimes I have the feeling that I can control them but most times it’s already enough if I eat something that my body doesn’t like…this is where I started using it as I used it as a moisturiser in the morning but during the day or night (depending on if I’m at home or work..) I use it only on the areas that are breakouts.
I’ve noticed that it helps them to heal quicker and the skin gets softer and moisturised rather than dry and itchy.
I’m a nervous person and love to scratch on my breakouts, which isn’t good at all! And it slows the healing process as I’m making it worse. But this moisturiser just helps!
I love it! And if you have an on and off love story with your skin because of the breakouts, I would recommend you get it as well!

No matter how many moisturizers I try, I always come back to this. It works wonders on oily skin and adult acne. I have been using for 20 years plus.

This will give you instant glowing skin and instant gratification and within time it will give you DRY skin that feels tight. Irritation will come slowly. I used once at night with a gentle cleanser and I had dryness. The fragrance smells good and I love it but fragrance is bad in skincare so idk why I fell for this. Also menthol is a no no. This can definitely clear acne however. I don’t think this is a good choice long term, but if you want to get rid of acne temporarily go for it. Once the acne is gone, I would go for a gentle cleanser and moisturizer Bc that’s really the trick to keeping acne away. I wish this worked for me but I didn’t as all acne products don’t! Dry skin= more oil production=more acne. Dehydrated skin doesn’t look pretty.

I have pretty oily skin so I’ve been using this moisturizer for almost 2 years and it’s one of the only ones I’ve tried that hasn’t given me any breakouts. The formula is nice and relatively light in comparison to other oil free moisturizers I’ve tried, and it leaves the skin feeling cool and refreshed. I use it once a day in the morning and I’m almost through my second bottle in 2 years, so for me it lasts a looong time. I always like to try new skin care products, but for now this moisturizer hasn’t given me any problems so I’m going to stick with it!

For some reason, this is the only moisturizer I can use. In the last year, I decided to try to take “better care” of my skin by using gentler, more hydrating products and it’s been an absolute nightmare of horrific, nonstop breakouts. When I use a scrub DAILY (yep) and use only this to moisturize, my skin becomes clear and soft. At 26, this is pretty confusing to me but oh well.

I bought this based on a recommendation in a book. I wanted something really light for nighttime that would fight breakouts. The texture of this was just perfect. It sinks right into your skin and doesn’t leave any greasy residue. Unfortunately, this made my acne worse. After a couple of uses, two or three pimples turned into a dozen. I think this has menthol in it, because there is a cooling sensation when you smooth it on. The menthol might have irritated my skin and kicked up my acne. This would probably work well for someone with less reactive skin.

This product just breaks me out, i think that the clean n clear cleanser it comes with is good but this and the astringent arent. no matter how many times i try to give this a chance it always just fails me.

I love this moisturizer! Helps with acne and isn’t too drying! Smells okay but not great and applies smoothly too!

I like this product but I like the Clean & Clear Advantage (gray bottle) better. However, I have many times went to stores where they don’t sell or are out of stock of the bottle I want and this is my next choice in line.
