Usually, my skin is oily but recently it became dry due to several reasons. I started to notice my skin getting dry and flaky so I went to the store looking for a skin cream. I saw a night/day cream that was on sale at the store and thought “I like the brand simple and maybe it will work”. After a few days of applying it day and night, my flaky and dry skin went away.

I recently picked up this product because it was on sale at wal-mart and I’m very surprised at how much I like it. I have normal skin but get some bad dry patches in the winter and this moisturizer has completely smoothed the dry patches I had, and prevented new ones even though it’s been extremely cold this last week.
I love this product because my makeup sits nicely on top of it, and I find that it really regulates and evens out my skin. Another bonus is that it sinks into the skin quickly and instantly leaves my skin feeling glowing and hydrated, without any greasy feeling at all.
Definitely would recommend this product!

For $10 at Target (less on Amazon), this is a very lightweight moisturizer. No sunscreen in it. So maybe better to use at night. It’s unscented which I like. I think I need something a little richer (I’m 63), but for younger gals, this would probably fit the bill.

I bought the origins mega bright spf 30 and I needed a night moisturizer. I didn’t want to spend too much money on it given how pricey the origins moisturizer is. I heard great things about this brand.
I’m very oily in my t-zone and normal everywhere else. This left me a big grease ball in the mornings — I could literally see the shine.
It was very simple which I liked until I woke up the next morning. Didn’t change anything else in my skincare. Will be returning.

I didn’t like this skin cream. I bought this because it was cheap at superstore and I was attracted to the idea of a cream that used simple, non-irritating ingredients.
Just to start off, I have extremely sensitive skin. It’s acne prone, dry on the cheeks, oily everywhere else and most creams (even sensitive ones with aloe vera) burn it.
I don’t like the tub, because I think it’s unsanitary. It can get contaminated and the integrity of the product is easily compromised in tub packaging.
This didn’t break me out at all, which is the first test it passed, but I had to layer this on very thick for my cheeks to feel moisturized. If a moisturizer is good, one layer should be enough. Also, this burned my sensitive areas, like right beside my nose and cheeks and my forehead. It was unpleasant, but I did finish the entire product. I wouldn’t repurchase but it’s a good option for those with normal type skin.

My skin is “normal” – not sensitive, not dry, and only a little bit oily. I was looking for a new moisturizer after running out of Olay Daily Renewal. I really liked Daily Renewal but as I am not a skin care loyalist I just wanted to try something new. Came to Product Reviews looking for moisturizer and read the mostly good reviews of this one so I decided to try it.
This is a very good basic moisturizer. It is moderately creamy and thick. It has just a hint of a more gelatinous texture than many creams I have tried. Going on, it spreads easily and you don’t have to use much product to cover your whole face – about nickel size. It absorbs quickly, leaves no tacky residue, and thus far has made a great base under makeup. There is no discernible scent. It is plenty moisturizing for me, but may not be enough for those with very dry skin.
I actually enjoy and look forward to using this moisturizer. I am not super-consistent with my skin care because many nights I just consider it chore and even go without removing my makeup. This moisturizer has made me look forward to washing my face so that I can use it. I use this moisturizer morning and night. At night, I alternate nights between just moisturizing with this and using Walgreens 7% alpha hydroxy cream.
A note about the price: it is ridiculous that this cream is rated $$$ (3 dollar signs, indicating that it is expensive.) It’s $13 bucks, people. I work in a cosmetics store and everyday I meet women who are paying $100 (Estee Lauder, Lancome, etc.) , $200 (Sisley, La Prairie), and $300 (La Mer, Perricone, etc.) for face cream. This stuff is a bargain-basement steal in my opinion. If all you need is a good moisturizer and aren’t delusional about being able to turn back the clock on your skin, you don’t need to pay more.
This receives a 4 instead of a 5 because I like it just a little bit less that Olay Daily Renewal. It’s slightly less thick – which is how I like my face cream – and it requires you to use just a little bit more product.
I tend not to give a crap about jar packaging because I am not in the least bit concerned with “contaminating” my cream with bacteria. I wash my hands before I cleanse & apply moisturizer. I doubt that the clean towel I use to dry my face is riddled with microbials.
Long story short, (too late) this is a great moisturizer for people who have relatively normal skin without special needs. If you are used to using drugstore moisturizer and are looking for a step up from Garnier, Cerave and the like but don’t want to spend on L’Oreal, advanced Olay, Roc, etc., then give this a shot.

A light, non-greasy moisturizer. Absorbs very quickly. Does not irritate my skin at all. The only complaint I have is for the package, I wish it came in a dispenser pump instead of a jar.

I have just recently started using this product because it was my backup moisturizer. I am so impressed. It is so unbelievably nourishing without being greasy at all. It almost feels like a cream to powder going on your skin. So weightless, so perfect. My skin has been so clear lately and this product has not irritated me at all. Mostly natural products are probably better for the skin anyway. Highly recommend.

simple and light but it burns my skin. sort of expensive but does the job

My forehead is slightly oily, cheeks are slightly dry, and I have mild hormonal acne. I use a gentle glycolic cleanser and I only wash and moisturize at night.
This is the best moisturizer I’ve ever used. I feels fluffy going on, instead of greasy, and it sinks right into the skin instead of just sitting on top of it. It’s very light, yet effective. A lot of other moisturizers I’ve tried have made my face feel kind of itchy (it felt like they weren’t adding moisture as much as they were just sealing in whatever moisture I already had), and when I use this one my face just feels cool and quenched.
This one also doesn’t bother my eyes or aggravate my acne, and it doesn’t have a smell. I will definitely buy again. It’s not super cheap but you get plenty of product. The only problem I have with this product is the packaging– it comes in a tub and you scoop it with your finger, which isn’t very sanitary so I am extra careful about making sure my hands are really clean before I use it.
