This cream is a lot like coconut oil in texture and skin feel, in that it begins as a very solid paste and melts into an oil. But, for me, it hydrates a lot more than coconut oil, which has always (oddly) dried my skin out. I keep this by my bed and apply after serums as and when my skin feels dehydrated (most nights) and I’ve noticed a massive difference in the hydration and plumpness of my skin. I do sometimes wake up a little tacky / oily but that easily washes away with my morning routine and never breaks me out or feels uncomfortable. This is well on its way to HG status.

This product is available for $42/50ml at Target. I purchased it during their cyber Monday deal with 15% OFF + 10% OFF Beauty products. I feel that the Korean brands now appearing at Target, Urban Outfitters, etc are quite overpriced compared to ordering from other online kbeauty shops, but you do get faster shipping and better return policies.
The product has a strange texture to it – not your typical cream. It took me a while to figure out how to describe it and the first thing I came up with was extremely whipped mashed potatoes. It also resembles cream cheese frosting. The scent is wonderful – light & sweet like dessert. As soon as you rub the product between your hands or straight onto your face, the product actually melts into a different texture and then disappears into your skin. The name has the term “rich cream” in it, but I don’t really think this is that rich. Mildly rich for some I suppose. Some days, the product sort of leaves my skin feeling borderline oily in the morning after use overnight. It hydrates, but for my dry/dehydrated skin, I need a little bit more.
Packaging – a beautiful red heavy-weight glass jar that doesn’t take up too much space. It comes with its own plastic spatula for you to scoop the product out and an inner plastic lid that helps with keeping air out. I used to toss those extra lids out as soon as I open the jar, but I heard that you should keep them to help block out as much air from entering the jar. So I keep the lid…but stick my washed finger into the jar.
I can’t see obvious improvements to my skin after two weeks of use nor did it give me any warm fuzzy feelings of excitement after applying it to my skin, so I won’t be repurchasing in the future.
