My boyfriend brought this product to me as a gift from his business trip to Korea. It came as a package set with an oil. I have used both (not at the same time) and have enjoyed them. The cream is fairly heavy and sits on my skin awhile before absorbing which is fine for me in a Night cream, would not use it during the day. I love, love, love the smell of the product. It is a very calming aromatic scent. My skins seems to like it as well. I used the strait oil once a week, and can really tell the difference the morning after. May purchase it again, but need to figure the best way since it is a Korean product, the shipping may take a while.

I immediately shot my order thru to Appleton, VA. Had to wait a day for this to arrive. It looks sort of dusty, I couldn’t tell the difference and that’s why I didn’t order anything to return to our house. Rated 5 out of 5 by Bloq from Great Stuff This is a fantastic skin care supplement to have on my skin. With natural products like Mint Lotion you get great effects on your skin as well as any rash issues you might have. So far it’s great, I don’t know if it’s a bad formula, or, better yet, butter or good washing agent. Will buy again as I have more problems without lots of dryness.

This was a spur of the moment purchase in stores while I was looking for sheet masks for my friend. There was a set “on sale” for $64 which included a full-sized cream, travel size eye cream, serum, & another serum, the same price of buying just the full-sized cream itself (similar here: The product dates on the package had 2015, so it wasn’t an expired item they were selling (phew). The price was good and I wanted to see if it was anywhere close to Sulwhasoo’s ginseng line I love so much, but cannot justify spending $100-$200 on each bottle.
The set packaging is a beautiful gold color, nice as a gift to give. The full-size cream container is a sturdy round tub made of heavy plastic with a light lid that screws off easily. It comes with a spatula so you can keep the tub clean. The way the container is designed on the outside with a wide bottom/top, but a narrow center (like a cinched waist) makes it seem like you get a lot of product, but if you look at the actual product inside in the “waist” area, it’s not that much. I find that with these higher-end products though, a little goes a long way. The smaller travel sized products will be reviewed separately.
I tested the cream at night on its own and it felt good massaging it into my skin. I think the ginseng scent is really soothing for the end of the day. It’s a bit greasier than SWH, texture is a bit sticky/tacky/gooey, but it seeped into my skin quickly and I didn’t wake up with a greasy face. I added the other products the next day and found that the combination helped lock in the moisture my combination skin needed at night. I tested the serums on their own, during day/night and felt they were slightly more moisturizing each alone than just the cream alone.
Surprisingly, this made me break out after initial use – a few pimples emerged. I don’t have sensitive skin and it rarely breaks out from new products. I only get pimples when it’s close to that time of the month, and this wasn’t that time. However, I did not give up too quickly. I had already spent the money and with just 7-day exchange policy at the store, I knew I would be stuck with this.
After I let my skin heal from the first mini breakout, I tried it a 2nd time and it seemed ok after using for a few days. I did get another mini pimple, but I thought maybe it was another product I had used. Maybe this is a product my skin just needed time to adjust to.
Unfortunately, the 3rd round of trials, confirmed that this product just wasn’t right for me and was causing too many breakouts for me to keep. Fortunately, I have a sister who was willing to give it a shot.
Overall, despite the breakouts the product caused, it moisturized far better than my Aveeno & Kiehls Ultra Face Cream, but I think for some skin types, this may be too greasy, oily & thick for them. I’d choose to use this only at night time rather than day, since there’s no SPF and it’s rather heavy for day, especially if you use makeup. There are plenty of other products out there that might be more worth spending my money on.
So’ so, if you can afford to buy this and half of it in stores, why not get the full beauty scrubs of lolola? I’s going to be a huge fan.
