Can’t go wrong here. Simple, it works, inexpensive. If your skin isn’t fussy and you’re not all SEE MY NOTEPAD SEE MY REVIEW it’s really all you need. Used it forever.

I have combo-acne prone skin and I broke out all over the face after using this for 3 days, day and night. It says it is non comodogenic but it does have avocado oil in it. So it is not oil free per se. The bottle is sanitary and you get a lot of product. I should have stopped using it when I realized it was not absorbing completely and left a oily, tacky feeling on my face even after 10 minutes. Clean and Clear moisturizers absorb fast for me and don’t break me out.

A basic moisturizing lotion. Not super hydrating, but decent. Perfect for my combo/oily skin. I like that it absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave any weird film or residue.

I honestly have to say that I love the Cetaphil moisturizing lotion. Also, I did a little video review about it and if you want to know what I liked so much and want to see how it performs have a look at the video.

I use this at night time as a moisturiser or underneath a BB cream or foundation with an SPF during the day.
It’s light and gentle – I think a little too light for my skin, especially at night I want something richer. But it’s light and gentle and not irritating and works as a reliable inexpensive good all-round moisturiser.

I used this for a while on both my skin and my son’s as he is prone to Irritated skin. I can’t say I was overly impressed and it didn’t transform my dry skin, nor did it improve my son’s, so I was somewhat disappointed having read so many positive reviews.

This is another item in my ‘cant’ live without’ category.
This is always in my household and is used an eye cream and a hand cream by me. This cost me £8 and I have had the same bottle for going on 2 years in my nightstand, as that bottle is used solely for my eyes, and there’s still loads left. It’s better than any pricey eye cream iv’e used.
The packaging isn’t the flashiest, but it does what it says on the label

Can’t believe there aren’t more reviews for this. The CeraVe knockoff does everything the brand name does plus it’s cheaper – moisturizes, doesn’t feel heavy, doesn’t clog my finicky skin. I switched to Aveeno to see if the grass is greener over there, but my skin started peeling again (Retin A effects). In fact, I like this better than the original. Definitely worth a try if you like the brand name version.

Fantastic daily moisturizer. Doesn’t break me out, makes my skin look and feel great. Competetive price, great product. It does everything it claims and it does it unpretentiously. Absolutely will rebuy.

I was recommended by a doctor a few years back, even today I still use it. NO ODOUR, and trust me when I say I’m allergic to a lot of facial creams. This is amazing and so moisturizing.

I’ve come back to this stuff over and over for years, going back and forth with natural oils and Olays and Cetaphils and blah blah blah… Yes, it’s light, and that’s why I think it’s great: I can use more or double-layer if I need to (winter), or go easy if I don’t (summer). It absorbs quickly, and is never sticky/tacky like other oil-free moisturizers I’ve tried. It’s not the cheapest, but it’s totally affordable, and I find a pea-size amount twice a day is all I need, so it lasts quite a while. I also find it’s a perfect base for mineral makeup.

I’ve been using this moisturizer for about 5 years now since a coworker recommended it to me. I don’t mind trying a product if someone I know recommends something to me. I love this moisturizer! I love that it is scent free and not greasy at all. I started getting breakouts a few years before I started this and I used proactive and used other acne face lotions and nothing really helped me. What did help me was salicylic acid weekly and this moisturizer. I have never broken out from it and every other face cream I’ve used/tried break me out. It allows my face to heal from any random pimple I get now and it provides decent moisture to my skin. I have bought maybe 5 tubes of this stuff. A little goes a long way and the price is good for what you get. It doesn’t do anything spectacular. It’s just a basic moisturizer but it does the trick for me! 5/5 from me! Not one complaint!
Edit: Feb 2017 – still using it and still loving it.

I have absolutely no complaints about this moisturizer. I use it everyday and it is amazing and so so so moisturizing. It says its made by dermatologists so i don’t know where you can go wrong in trying this out! Works great for use under makeup as well

I love this product, definitely my HG lotion. It is perfect for those with combination skin. I am acne prone, yet sensitive. I’ve tried other lotions but nothing works better for me than this. It is thin, but applying twice on especially dry days does the trick. I live in Canada where the cold air will dry your skin up, but this keeps me moisturized year round 🙂 I will continue to buy this for as long as it’s available! Absolutely no complaints, I recommend this to people of all skin types, I even got my brother addicted!

Too light for my dry/acne prone/sensitive skin………might be good for summer but not moisturizing enough for right now…..i applied alot and my face still feels a bit tight………

I was given this product by my friend who has eczema even though I don’t suffer from it myself. I have only started moisturising again because my legs were getting really dry and I’ve completely fallen in love with this product. I’ve become addicted to moisutring and use this everyday, especially after showering, it locks in moisture so well.
I also love the non-greasy texture, it’s really smooth and the fragrance is almost odoureless and gentle – I had no problems with the smell. It didn’t change the appearance of my skin, it just gave it a healthy glow.
The reason I’ve given the price 3 lipsticks is because I looked online at the costs and it seems to range from £5-£13 which is a little pricey if you love a bargain like me. However, if you have eczema or really dry skin I think you can get it for free from your doctor, like my friend did.
I don’t think there is much more you can want from a moisturiser. I would defo get this again, as long as I could get it for free from my friend.

I’ve been a loyal Dove fan for as long as I can remember, but after reading the reviews for Aveeno’s products I thought I’d give them a try. What I can say about the whole range is that it is very moisturizing, leaves the skin velvetty smooth! The range does contain paraffinium liquidum (mineral oil) though, which may be a bad thing (many say it’s bad for the skin, many say it’s harmless, who knows). The smell is a bit weird at first, especially if like me you’re used to heavily-fragranced body products…It kinda feels as if you were rubbing Weetabix all over your body lol. But I’ve grown to like it.
This lotion leaves skin increadibly smooth, absorbs super quickly, doesn’t feel greasy, and the consistency is lovely (unlike many body lotions which tend to be too liquidy and are a nightmare because they take ages to absorb).
Inexpensive, simple, and effective.

I was recommended this product by my ex boyfriend’s mum after we were dating a while I suddenly had an outbreak of eczema on my hands nowhere else on my body or face in that moment.my skin had a very red dry sore itching rash and her sister in America had sent it over as her little boy (my ex boyfriend’s half brother) had eczema on his body and they didn’t stock it inthe UK at that time.
It worked for the little boy and his eczema cleared up however for some reason it didn’t work on my skin.I had outbreaks of eczema before on different parts of my body and face of varying intensity and I found although this lotion was soothing and cooling effect it wasn’t moisturizing enough as the texture was very light.it had a very natural smell as it is made with oats and comes in a light brown plastic pump action bottle and you can remove the pump.the beige colour of the packaging and lotion provided a contrast with my inflamed agitated red skin and it did reduce the intensity of the red attacking my skin which was light yellow at the time.
I have used oat products before on my skin.I used to cook some oats with water and use the milky gel like secretion as a face mask which would dry and then I would rinse it off with water which I found helped reduce magnified pores on my face and tighten my skin quality.however that was a few years ago whilst living in a different area and since then I moved to an area with different people and everytime I try cook porridge which is usually white creamy substance texture it is replaced with a different powdered substance in a medium brown color which isn’t nice to eat and has no
skin nutrient properties.I am not sure how this is happening as I don’t have any products in my home that I could have inadvertently replaced it with and as far as I’m aware I havnt invited anyone into my home when I’ve been cooking and I have no memory of anyone else coming into my home uninvited when this kept happening.I stopped buying it because it was waste of money time and waste of product that other people had to go to work to produce just so I could tell this real life experience.
So with aveeno body moisturizer best advice is try it maybe it would work for you maybe it wont.

This cream is an absolute miracle!!!
I’ve had really bad, really sore patches of eczema on my hands for the past few months & I tried everything to get rid of it or even just stop it bleeding/cracking – hydrocortisone, steroid cream, double base, the lot – but none of them worked.
My cousin had this lying around because it didn’t work for her so, during a particularly bad flare-up, I put some on &, at first, my eczema seemed to get worse, even turning bright red as if I’d been burnt.
The next day however, my eczema was significantly better, hardly itchy & didn’t bleed/crack at all. I’ve only been using this cream for 3 days now but I can honestly say my eczema is better now than it has been for months, definitely stocking up on it!

I love this lotion, especially for the non-winter months! It’s moisturizes and absorbs quickly. 🙂
pitifulIcecream8
The ONLY lotion that can get rid of my dry patches. I have some dry patches on my shoulder especially in winter. I have used tons of lotion(cheap and expensive ones) and this is the only thing that has worked on me.
The only thing negative about it is when you live in a warm humid place (or summer) it feels very heavy and sticky on skin. But over all its a great product!

Back during my Accutane course this was a life-saver. I’d been doing fine with Laneige Water Bank and the sleeping mask, but it got to the point where my skin just feel constantly tight and dried out, no matter how much of those I used or layered. I picked Cetaphil up at Walmart for quite a bargain. It seemed like a simple enough basic moisturizer – nothing fancy in there apart from some Avocado oil, Vit B5 and Vit E and a few other additions.
My biggest fear was this would somehow break me out. It felt quite rich to me, I can recall the first time I applied it was just a very tiny amount. Over the following days I applied more and more liberally as I began to realize my skin was soaking up the moisture and had no issues with Cetaphil’s ingredients or heaviness. I used this twice a day and ended up going through 2 bottles of this before switching to something a bit richer. For dry skin issues and basically replenishing moisture (but without any additional benefits) I would recommend giving this a go. It’s cost effective and does the job nicely.

A good lightweight moisturizer. Sinks into skin quickly, and has never caused breakouts (I’m very acne-prone & sensitive to many lotions) or irritation. All that being said, very often it just doesn’t moisturize enough — I’ll still get dry, flaky patches if I apply sunscreen or makeup on top of this. It also doesn’t mix into makeup as easily as oils. Also can leave a white cast on dry skin. Still works when I’m not having a particularly dry day, though, and is a great morning moisturizer.

I used this a very long time ago. It causes breakouts and shine. It’s moisturizing and that’s why I added a star. My skin wasn’t dry at all. I wouldn’t recommend this for anyone who has acne. Try the cream instead.
Update: Actually I was wrong! I tried this again with the correct facial cleanser and it’s perfect! HG!

AMAZING moisturizer! Dries almost instantly and keeps skin soft and moisturized all day. It doesn’t have a scent…which is good. It soothes dry skin instantly. It also helped clear up my face a bit…added bonus!
stressedRhino3
I’m really loving this moisturizer right now. It doesn’t break me out at all and EVERY moisturizer I’ve ever tried has broken me out. I was kind of worried that is wouldn’t be enough for the winter but I’m finding it’s doing it’s job just fine. My skin also has a nice clarity that it didn’t have before.
EDIT: This was just way too light for my dry skin. I have since found a much better replacement. But if this is moisturizing for your skin you really can’t beat the price.

So far the best mositurizing lotion I have used on my face, I get a rash from almost everything I have ever tried and I try lots looking for something better and nothing is ever better. I have been able to use this stuff for years! Very mositurizing!!!
