Being older I have very dry skin now and this works well, it at least feels like it is moisturising my skin. I think my skin looks better to.

I have really dry skin on my face with flaky patches. This moisturised my face well when I first applied it. A few hours after applying this moisturiser my skin looked super greasy and shiny, but was still super flaky. It felt really oily too and make up just slid off my face.
I would not buy this again for that reason. I would like a moisturiser that tackles dry skin but does not make my face look like I could fry chips on it.

I have really dry skin and usually use dermalogica. The first time I used this It stung my face, but it made it feel do hydrated. I persevered with this moisturiser and after a week I used my dermalogica intensive moisture and it didn’t come close to the hydration I get from this cheap gem. It doesn’t break down my makeup and is the best winter moisturiser I’ve ever used.
