I love this moisturizer, it’s very light and works great with my combination skin. It’s great to use during the day since it doesn’t leave any residue on your face and it doesn’t make you look shiny either. It’s hydrating enough for my T zone but I do find it isn’t enough for dry patches when I get them. The scent can be overpowering but I don’t mind it at all, it’s a citrus scent. The scent goes away after five minutes when everything is fully absorbed. This doesn’t break me out and has definitely improved the overall look of my skin. It is a little pricey but well worth every penny.

dr hauschka’s melissa face cream causes acne!
this cream caused my face to break out in lots and lots of big white heads!!!! so no I don’t recommend. my skin looked very good before I started using this cream, and it was the only thing that I changed in my routine. the pimples started on the second day of using it (3rd application) and I kept using it for 10 days hoping that it was due to some other factor… but now I’m convinced that it’s this cream!

I am sorry to say that this did not work for me. I LOVE almost all of Dr. Hauschka products, but this dried out my sensitive/combo skin too much. It is probably better for very oily skin. It leaves an almost powdery/matte finish (due to the tapioca starch, probably), which is unnecessary for me.
I find Dr. Hauschka Moisturizing Day Cream and a couple drops of Normalizing Day Oil works best. Evan Healy’s Rose Vetiver Day Cream is also very balancing for combo skin.
